Eagles LG Evan Mathis' agent Drew Rosenhaus said the Dolphins are not a "strong possibility" for the disgruntled guard.

"I’ve been given permission by the Eagles to shop Evans," Rosenhaus said in a radio interview. "We thought we had a trade with another team leading up to the Draft. It was not the Dolphins." Coach Chip Kelly has said Mathis has been available to trade for two offseasons, but to this point Rosenhaus has yet to find a partner. Mathis is not happy, but he will likely remain an Eagle for at least one more season.

mathis has been on the market for 2 years. the dolphins dont want that contract... plus he wants a pay rise!

we dont have cap for a pay rise i dont think they would mind having him tho but its not going to happen.

Nope just confirms what we have been hearing all along doubtful he is a Dolphin.

Give it up people, this is getting seriously pathetic.

He wants a new contract, we just paid, Suh, paid Tannehill, we have guys who want new contracts next year and were already over the cap.

Not to mention, were in no position to trade draft picks.

This isn't Madden, you can't have all that going on and just hand a 30 year old a new contract. Stop this nonsense already. You don't get to fil every position with players you like, it doesn't work that way.

that is it exactly. he would be great to have three Pro Bowlers protecting Ryan's blind side, but we can't be throwing all of our eggs in one basket.

Too bad. A great offensive line turned Dallas from a consistent .500 team to a 12-4 NFC Contender one controversial call away from a NFC Championship game. Offensive lines are key. And we go into the season with 2 of 5 positions there relying on an unknown and a disappointment.

And Seattle has one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL and made it to consecutive super bowls.

There's different ways to win in the NFL.

Dallas Thomas....should be alright, I like his stance....

Dumb question for the super agent. We have Dallas Thomas. The guy has not given up a sack as a guard.

We are in good hands.
