I have been following this team since I was a pup - I am 38 now. My uncle bought me a Dolphins coat when I was about 6 and I was a fan from then on. As long as I have known football I have been a Fins fan among all of the Chiefs here in the midwest. I followed the Killer Bees and the Marino years and I can honestly say that after the game passed Shula by, this team has been heartbreaking to me. When Jimmy took over I was really stoked, but he was a letdown - the magic had passed him by. Wadnstedt(sp) was good for a few years - you have to admit, we had a few good seasons under him but ultimately he lost the team. Then comes Saban - I couldn't have been more keyed about the change. Turns the team around in the second half of 2005 - was expecting a HUGE 2006 and now this. I cannot remember being more bummed out about this team. I am drained and cannot find the emotion anymore. I don't know where to place blame. My wife and I recently built a new house and come to find out my next door neighbor is a transplant from Miami - grew up with season tickets as far back as the Orange Bowl. His wife even has much knowledge of the team. Guess I just needed to vent. Very sad times for this storied franchise. Props to all of you regulars - I enjoy all of your posts. Keep it up.

Keep the faith, my Kansas Dolphin brothers. This season may be a wash, but it isn't like we are gonna root for the Chef's or anything.......... All you can do is hope for the best.

Some chief fans are ok.. Others are complete morons.
I have had more than one run-in with a Chief fan for wearing
Fin's gear.
And of all things we get to play them two games from now.
With our team not being able to do simple things like block,
tackle and catch, it looks like I'll catch a liitle more heat...

There are no good chiefs fans

From personel experience they are the worst, if there is one game all year i want Miami to win, its that game, don't care if Miami goes 2-14. at least it will shut those Chiefs fans up.

i know what you are going through. i spent14 years in KC enduring "red friday" and all that red and gold. all of my friends were ultra die-hard chiefs fans. now i am back home...amongs the enemy ranks in the north east....

anyway, things will get better. maybe not this year, but we will start to see some real changes this coming off season. head up man...:D
