I'm sure recruiting played a huge role as well. It's going to be hard to get recruits in the SEC with the giants in that conference.

This immediately read to me as Lincoln getting out of dodge before he has to deal w/ an SEC schedule. OU accepts SEC invite, emphatically denies LSU involvement, less than 24 hours accepts the USC position.

I know the whole "correlation does not imply causation" fallacy is at play here ... but how coincidental.

OU was pretty much THE program in the Big 12. I'm surprised they moved up in the world.

Graham Harrell (an Air Raid disciple is currently the OC) & pairing him w/ Riley might frighten some. Not me,

The University of Spoiled Children does not IMO seem like this style fits them. The Pete Carroll style did

That said, The PAC12 South will be a fight between the trojans, Ucla, & Utah until expectations get too much for Riley
