Line With Pouncey

I have no idea how offensive linesmen receive their grades, but does the line seem to always play better when Pouncey plays? I don't know if he's a better blocker than the centers that replace him, but does he bring better intangibles, like line calls, kinda like the QB of the line?

Its the line calls for sure. Hes a smart guy and knows his reads and is a good communicator. It shows everytime hes out. Usually in the form of lineman missing assignments and players going unblocked. I dont think either of Matt moores fumbles in the playoff game wouldve happened had he been playing, even though he wasnt the guy responsible for the assignment.

It's not just the physical attributes. He's making the first line call like you pointed out. It's his biggest difference maker. Physicaly he is ok - he's better at the calls imo.
