BTW, what I read about why he got kicked off the team at Cal was that he threatened/offered to fight one of his coaches.

No clue if that is true, but that's the only explanation I've seen for it on the internet.

It sounds like he's put that in his past and is walking the straight and narrow now . At least we all hope so.
Play makers is what we need and it looks like we found one without wasting a #3 pick. Kudos to Hickey for that.
