Linebackers need to tackle better!!!

Until the linbackers on this team stop missing tackles we will never be able to stop the run! Crowder gets caught in the backfield or over persuing the play way too often! The runners are by our guys by the time they get into the backfield and our defensive backs are making too many tackles! The linebackers need too fill the lane, like Baltimore does and hold the other team to two yard gains instead of six yard gaines. We are making it too easy on the other teams the last two weeks!! Does anyone remember the last three and out for the other team!!
 
Its not just the LBs that need to tackle better its the Whole D we couldnt tackle worth a crap last game

Actually our secondary is the ones missing tackles but are u saying that Crowder is the only linebacker messing up.
 
I think we are being too aggressive! To easy to run screens and draws against!!
 
Are run defense is the least of our concern IMO i would say our secondary needs to learn how to play period and if that happened then this defense would b pretty darn good
 
If we stopped the run the last two weeks we win!! the d-backs are in a no win situation with 2nd and short situations and little pass rush!
 
When your safety is leading your team in tackles, thats a knock on the linebackers. A safety really should never be leading your team in tackles... Prime example are the colts, Sanders always leads their team in tackles, and look at their linebackers.

I believe that Sparano called at the secondary for missing tackles. He did so after watching the game film.

As far as the last time Miami's defense forced a three-and-out, you don't have to go back too far. It happened once against the Ravens, and the defense also held them to two 4-play drives that resulted in punts.

The defense had 2 three-and-outs against Houston and 5 three-and-outs against the Chargers. So since the bye week, Miami has forced a total of 8 three-and-outs out of 29 total defensive series. That breaks down to once ever 3-4 times that they take the field.

Not great, but not terrible either. They're main problem is stopping long completions, failing to cash in on easy interceptions and preventing yards after contact.
