Linebackers should be

They really should bench them if they care about winning and future of team. At least just to see if this game was an aberration or is a 4th round 2nd year player and a un-drafted rookie free agent better than our overpaid linebacker core.

Edit: My bad, include Trusnik. A lot of people thought we should move on for him, but maybe not yet.

I also saw Jenkins covering guys down-field better than our current starters...

He did that last year. Was the reason some wanted Wheeler on the bench in favor of him.

As much as I loved the way these kids played, I'm not sure if it matters if you have 3 Ray Lewis' and 4 Revis's when you get pressure on sissy Tom w your front 4. This has been the formula since the Giants exposed them in the SB in 2007 - easier said than done though. Can Wake and Co brought it today.

I'm fairly confident that the Phins will pick off a linebacker or two from somebody's practice squad and elevate them to the 53 man roster.......just a hunch.

Trusnick was mostly who I am talking about. His guys were open. As a matter of fact when the TV showed Brady looking at pics on the sideline and then he puts his hand on his forehead...I would put money he saw how open the guy Trusnick was covering was. Brady went short instead and didn't pick up the first.

So, Trusnick and Freeney, who many did not want on the roster are now good options to start?

If Wheeler and Ellerbe never see the field again I am ok with that.

You can add Dion Jordan to that list. If his return means less plays for Chris McCain, he can keep his overpaid rearend on the bench.

I wasn't celebrating his minor injury, I was pointing to the fact he wasn't out there hurting us.

I was. **** Phillip Wheeler. He is a lazy ****ing bum who deserves NOTHING. It is a shame talent gets wasted on a bum like Wheeler. Give someone who actually wants to work some NFL talent.

That crook stole so much money from the Phins, you would think he could afford a trip to the barber.

I was very impressed by Jelani Jenkins. He appears to have improved significantly. Full marks to Trusnick, as well. I have never been a big fan but he got it done today. I attended the game. How bad were the injuries to Koa Misi and Dannell Ellerbe?

McCain, Tripp, Jenkins is our future starting LB unit.

i would expect misi/wheeler/ellerbe will continue to start but receive fewer snaps as the season goes on and it becomes more and more obvious just how ineffective all 3 of them are. maybe this will light a fire under them, but at the same time its not like they're mega-talented and just not playing up to their ability. they're just not that good.
