Linebackers..who makes it and who doesn't?

I'm counting on Eight Linebackers on the roster and this is how I see it working out;

1-Porter

2- Taylor

3- Crowder

4-Wake

5- Moses

6- Ayodele

7- Walden

8- Anderson

I believe Roth is trade bait.

I believe Torbor is either trade bait or just cut.

And I can see both Folsom and Kershaw on the practice squad.

How do you see it coming out.
 
Don't know what is going on with Roth. Maybe we can put him on IR; I don't see anyone trading for him. And I pray you are right about Torbor.
 
Not that Torbor is my favorite player, but I think the coaches will keep him. I think they look at him as kind of a "captain" type, because I have noticed him pointing and calling the shots on special teams as well as I think he is the guy wearing the radio helmet on defense whenever Crowder is not in the game.
 
My dislike for Torbor is related to his on field thug attitude and not his playing ability.
 
There is no way Torbor is cut he's Crowder's sub, and Roth is not going to be traded.


Walden cut - Roth IR
 
IMO Anderson isn't the pass rusher that Wake is, and thats with Wake not having any counter moves yet!!! therefore as much as this might go against the grain, Anderson is the odd man out, especially with Moses having lifted his game!!! I can see Waldens' value on special teams so he's probably going to make it...
 
Torbor makes it just because he's our only "depth" at ILB. I want Walden to make the team - think he's got a good shot. Moses and Wake seem to be locks, and I never really liked Anderson. Think he's out.

I don't know what the hell is going on with Roth, so I'm not going to speculate.

I think I read somewhere that Kershaw was not eligible for the practice squad.

who's backing up ilb on your roster?
 
remove Anderson, he's cut. Roth on PUP. Kershaw and Torbor added. 9 linebackers. We need them for special teams.
 
Torbor is a lock unless some inside linebacker magically becomes available.

It looks like it will be Taylor, Crowder, Ayodele, Porter, Torbor, Wake, and Moses. If we assume Roth is on the PUP, that leaves at least 1 more spot, and maybe as many as 3. That is where Walden, Kershaw, and Anderson will have to shine. I think Walden makes it first, followed by Kershaw.
