I just heard on 790 The Ticket (a local AM radio station) that Linehan is interviewing with the Rams today for their Head Coaching vacancy...

Just thought I would give you guys the heads up...

I read today that the rams would like to go with a defensive minded coach.

I hope Linehan stays with the Phins, I'm going to pray for that

ya... I hope so too...

However, the Rams might be a great fit for Linehan...

I think that this round of interviews won't yield a head coaching job for Linehan. IMO, it's more for the experience of the interview and to put himself out there for next year.

That's not to say that he won't leave it offered a HC position but he really needs another year under Saban

I agree and if he does stay, he's likely to be one of the hottest prospects next year.

If I could talk to Linehan right now and give him advice, I'd tell him to only take a job if it is offered by the Rams, Packers, or Chiefs (which seems unlikely -- they look to be on Herm). The rest of the jobs open look like crap jobs to me.

That's really good news for us then. The Rams need to get them a defensive minded coach anyways. The only team that I'm worried about hiring Leinhan would be the Texans because I've heard that they was pleased by his interview.

The Rams would be a good fit for Linehan, but I'm not sure it works the other way around.

I don't really understand the Rams problem, besides defense. You have Pace, (aging) Faulk, Stephen Jackson, two dominating WRs and a speedy little unknown guy, a good QB, an underachieving defense... that team should invest in DEs like the Rams did and just hide the problems in the secondary by blitzing. Bring in a defensive-minded coach.

That's what I've been hoping too.
