Linehan likes AJ

Sorry..but your post comes across as being as much anti Feeley as his was as a "homer". Its funny how you say it was typical coach stuff....why is it not possible thay he was infact saying that AJ is showing something. You automatically assume the worst. If AJ wasnt showing anything..he would most likely just say nothing.

Dude was right on the money. What Linehan said was typical generic coach stuff. He doesnt like Feeley. He doesnt not like him either.

Funny how people like to draw conclusions based on the fact that the coach did not come out and publicly critisize the player.

Feeley huggers are like a midget reaching for a urinal.. way to stay on your toes.

I believe Linehan will have to make a decision because Gussy is not helping his vertical passing attack.

After listening to Linehan's interview, He realized that AJ is a gifted athlete and in my opinion he wants AJ to be the future of this organization. For all of you Feeley's supporters right here, this is good news and don't worry about the mini-camp, it was a learning curve.....
"In particular, Linehan said he has been impressed with Feeley's offseason work.

``He has really improved, and he has really embraced the system, which is the two things we really wanted him to do in the offseason program. He's certainly got some exceptional talents as far as throwing the ball. He's still young as a quarterback, so he's learning. He has done everything and more that we have asked.''

Wasn't this interview done before he played one game for him? I'd like to hear what he has to say after the last pre-season game.

Is that Gus Frerotte in that video?

I had no idea this thread was a couple of months old until I kept reading and came across my own post.

I'm glad that AJ looks like he is winning the battle just because he does have a bit of potential if he doesn't pan out we can always have frerotte finish whats left of are year and draft a quarterback.
