Why the hell are we throwing to Lorenzo Diamond and giving carries and throwing to Heath Evans AT ALL??????

I know you want to spread the ball around and all, but when your losing, try to get the ball to the guys who can make plays!! This isn't the time to be tricky and do that kind of stuff.

maybe linehan called plays to chambers, but diamond was the check down man, and he was open. As for evans, on 3rd and 1, i'd give it to my FB too. theres no excuse for a FB not to be able to get 1 yard...

well considering chambers dropped a pass on the numbers, its hard to fault him.

Linehan did what he could - i didn't see *too* much fault with linehan this game... the players didn't execute on the plays. We caught the Denver syndrome from last game. Our players dropped passes, whiffed blocks, just didn't make any plays.

The defense did a great job holding until they realized how weak howard is. How much you want to bet carolina picks on howard next week?

I agree. I am standing pat that I put today's loss on the COACHES shoulders. I thought Linehans play calling was blehhh compared to last week, and I thought our defensive scheme sucked.

R. Howard blowing doesn't help, but he can't screw up everything thank God...

actually when you're losing you're SUPPOSED to do something different

Linehan was calling a good game. Chambers dropped a couple catchable passes. Of course, we still made too many penalties - and, therefore, Linehan had to change it up. Gus actually played a good game IMO. Offensive line sucked *** - and then we started making changes on the line in the 2nd half - which only hurt us.

It is the idea of spreading the balls and NOT being predictable. We will definately not win if we throw the ball to Chambers (who doesn't make plays by the way) every play.

I thought the playcalling was good....the exectution was very poor.

What did John McKay say way back inm the day?

Reporter - "Coach, what do think of your teams execution today?"

McKay - "I'm in favour of it."

You are absolutely correct! The offensive line let us down yet again. Gus played a good game with what he was given.

So will Miami ever start Daniels this season opposite of Madison, it seemed like he would until had a slight hamstring injury in preseason, didn't he get an int against the Broncos last week?

I dont like evans too much. I would like to see Sammy Morris in the game more at FB He may not be as good of a blocker, but on passing plays he is jsut a better option and can make some big plays out there. Morris was primarly a FB to begin with, granted he lost wieght to change to rb... I would still like to see him in there. IMO Morris is a very good player.

whatever happened to throwing the deep balls. I dont think i saw one deep ball thrown except for the last play of the half and game. This is crazy we need to start getting the ball down field.

First time I think I have ever agreed with you.

it doesnt matter if we starts daniels. if teams plan on exploiting howard, they can just spread us out and get him on the field. that seams to be a reciepe for other teams sucess, so far weve been great vs the run, and so so vs the pass. we knew this was going to be a weakness going into the season, losing surtain and poole and not picking up anyone worth a darn, give it time guys...
