Lionel Dotson?

has anyone heard/seen anything about him? i was stoked when we drafted him because i think he's a steal (and he went to Arizona where i go to college), so i was just wondering if anyone had anything to say about how he's doing in camp? thanks.

Not much being said, probably because the 3-4 end position is pretty loaded right now. I do remember when he was drafted that Jeff noted he offered some position flexibility, in that he could play some on the nose.

Reminds me a bit of a guy the regime drafted in Dallas in the seventh round - Jay Ratliff, a current starter for the Cowboys.

If he can play nose, he may make the team. But with Roth, Holliday, Langford, Merling, Randy Starks, and Rodrique Wright, I don't know how he makes it as an end.

I haven't heard anything so far on Dotson. I have a hard time believing he will make the final 53 man roster. I see him being stashed on the Practice Squad this season.

Yeah I think Dotson is a lock for the practice squad with all the bodies ahead of him.
