Lions | Jones suffers ankle injury
Sun, 19 Nov 2006 14:41:22 -0800
DetroitLions.com reports Detroit Lions RB Kevin Jones (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during Week 11 and left the game versus the Arizona Cardinals. His return is questionable.

So are we though. We need Crowder and Allen back in there. Pope does a nice job filling in, but I feel a lot more comfortable with Channing.

Wow, Kevin Jones is big for them.If he's out, there running game will be limited.

We need to make sure our guys get healed fast.

This short week may actully be a blessing because we follow it up with 10 days off before our big one with Jacksonville. We need that time to get healthy.

Four weeks ago, this would be looked upon as an "EVEN" match-up. But now since we've been on a role for three weeks in a row... we CANNOT take this game lightly. Every game counts... ONE GAME at a time.

The way this team is playing, I'd say its more important for their starters to return to the lineup before ours.
Although the Texans fiasco is well behind us, that incomprehensibly, pathetic Dolphin performance, came against what should of been a hugely inferior, rookie Texan line, that not only over achieved, but like other tomato can teams we've struggled against, proved devastating confidence-wise.

Probably more than anytime during the Zack years, this team is flourishing as a snubbed, insignificant, underdog.

We don't need to see any struggling longshots.

Actually, despite their potential unpredictability, theres little chance Detroit is gonna be considered a powerhouse in any sense of the word before this game, regardless of who they get back.

So NM.

:whip2:

Who is the main off. and def. threats Mimai has to be concerned about. Are we going to get pressure on their QB? Who is their Qb?

Guys we might see Mcown at WR:lol:

:sidelol: :sidelol: But seriously I hate to see any player get hurt, and its important that our guys heal up as well.

BTW, they get DT all pro Shaun Rogers back whom was serving a 4 game suspension....that's going to help them stuff our struggling running game
