We're now told that, if the Raiders don't pick Johnson, the Lions plan to snare the Georgia Tech wideout with an eye toward promptly trading him.

This Draft is starting to look real interesting. I think we are in for alot of surprises. I think we will see something big like last year draft where we saw Williams go to the Texans and Bush to the Saints. I would love for the Raiders to snag Johnson and the Browns to draft Russell....

i dont see that to be true cuz why would they leak that unless they are that stupid

Why not, look how it worked out for the Chargers.....

it did work for the chargers but they didnt leak what they were gonna do before the draft. im glad that manning didnt go to chargers cuz he was overrated and the chargers are my 2 fav team, far far far second to miami

Eli hasnt impressed much because he is expected to fill his brothers shoes. Eli has thorwn the last two years 48 TDs to 35 ints. Im no rocket scientist, but those are not bad numbers for a QB. I think the problem is the media and how they expect him to be better than Peyton and carry the whole Giant organization on his back, but I dont think Eli is a bad QB, far better than anything we have had.

Unless the Lions have a deal already done before the draft starts....that could be dangerous. It's not like the Lions wouldn't be able to use Johnson....but they do have many other needs to fill.

Not too dangerous. SOMEONE would be willing to pay out the nose for the best player in this draft. Either Atlanta or Tampa would probably pony up if push came to shove.

All in all I think it will be rendered moot when Oakland takes CJ#1. Talent has a way of talking and while Russell looks impressive on paper CJ may be the best prospect I can remember seeing in a very long time.

they want Tampa to trade up with them. Then Detroit could drop back to 4 and still get Joe Thomas or Gaines Adams. Detroit has every reason in the world to trade back 2-3 spots.
