with McCain injured and McTyer being picked on do we know anything about Lippet? I guess I assume the club does and he must not be ready.

I was rooting for him to recover, but clearly he had lost a step. I don't know if he is on someone's practice squad, but I would not be apposed to bringing him in for a physical and tryout. He was getting better in 2016.

I don’t think he was signed anywhere. Hopefully working on rehabbing and getting his explosion back. Maybe could come back one day, but probably not until next season.

Possible the injury ended his career as well.

I was wondering the same the other day. Hopefully he gets healthy and catches on somewhere and would love for the Phins to give him another shot.

Lippet was release for TANK.

Lol, I don't recall what poster I was debating with on Tank vs. Lippet.

Lippet was and is miles better than TANK.

I agree. I was surprised when he was released, but he did not look good or healthy in preseason.

The thing with Lippet is he relied HEAVILY on his speed to close the gap with the ball in the air over technique! Probably another year before he gets back to 100%, hopefully he will be back in camp next year.

No, he had barely enough speed. Length and WR skills is what he relied on.
