List all the Positive moves Jeff Ireland has made since his arrival to Miami...

No difference making playmakers....Ireland sits so far up his Ivory Tower with his rectum clenched that he couldn't spot a special talent if his career dependent on it.

Don't know if these are Parcells or Ireland, but here goes.

Jake Long
Richie Incognito
Matt Moore
Reggie Bush
Charles Clay
Davone Bess
Brandon Marshall
Anthony Fasano
Brian Hartline
Mike Pouncey
Jared Odrick
Kendall Langford
Cameron Wake
Randy Starks
Karlos Dansby
Vontae Davis
Sean Smith
Dan Carpenter

All i see there is 7-9, 7-9, and 6-10.

imo, you can't judge personnel moves until last year. Aside from a couple instances, with Parcells around, no one really knows who did what. So, looking at the last 12 months, in free agency you have Reggie Bush, Matt Moore and Kevin Burnett. The draft looks good now, its really too soon for a final answer.

Well if we cant distinguish between Parcells and Irelands picks while Parcells was in charge, lets look at his one year without parcells

1. Reggie Bush

2. Pouncey

3. Charles Clay

4. Matt Moore

5. Jimmy Wilson looks like a steal for a 7th rounder

to be determined: DT and Gates

bad choice: Marc Columbo. But to be fair Columbo was brought in as a minimum player to back up Carey at RT. It was after Columbo was brought here that Sparano moved Columbo to the starting lineup

Im not defending Ireland but the blind hate that every move hes done was a franchise killer and that hes never made a good decision ever is ridiculous. I think the Bush and Moore trades and signing were some of the best of all teams last year.
Gotta add Odrick in there too

I guess people wanna go back to the wan**** type of draft where you trade away all your picks for a Hb. Before Ireland came here our best draft pick has been Vernon Carey think about that for one second. We also had 2 good picks in Ronnie Brown and Chris Chambers the rest was either traded or was a pile of white dog ****.

Since we have THE BEST LT in the NFL on our roster, a good who can become great CB in Davis, Top 5 Slot Wrs in the NFL, Odrick could be something special in at DE, a good amount of players that are good depth and some are good starters like Smith, Langford, Marshall, Dansby and so on.

You all forget how this roster looked before Ireland and Parcells came here. We had Cameron Worrell for **** sakes starting games for us because there was zero depth.

I will rather have Ireland keep building this team and grab a hungry coach that wants to win.

6. Kevin Burnett

Franchising Solia, to be amongst the best Run Defense in the League. Clyde Gates Top 10 Returner in his rookie season. Reggie Bush Highest YPC average. Matt Moore, best F.A. Qb signing this year. Pouncey Pro-Bowl Alternate as a rookie. Odrick, Cutting Crowder for Burnett, Davis, Dansby, Marshall Pro-Bowl WR, Bess, Clay, Resigning Incognito, John Jerry looked decent after finally getting into shape. Jimmy Wilson SP teams beast.

All his draft picks with the exception of one made the team. And Kearse was purged from our practice squad, to Panthers active roster..

I think people are forgetting just how awful our talent level was back in 2007. There were maybe five players worth a crap on that team, so it was almost like starting over.

Has Ireland made some mistakes along the way, absolutely. But what GM hasn't? Ozzie Newsome drafted Kyle Boller, Bill Belichick has had a few second round stinkers the past few years, it happens.

I think Ireland's positives outweigh his negatives and the talent base of this team is probably higher than its been in a decade. He hasn't found a steady QB yet, but it's not for lack of trying. Pennington appeared to be the answer, then got hurt. Henne never developed like they hoped and the jury is still out on Moore. It's not easy to find a QB as we're not the only team trying to remedy that situation.

Wannstedt started the ball rolling on making our franchise a mess and Mueller and Saban helped it gain momentum. Ireland is building this team the right way and I think he's on the right track. We're just not getting there as fast as everyone wants, and I understand that, but let's not discard what he has done so far and with another draft and free agency, we should be even better.

Took some big gonads to draft pouncey! I think we can all agree it was the smart move!

What the f%&*!ck???

Took some gonads to draft a lineman in the first round? Moving up to get Locker or Gabbart would take gonads. Hell, making a trade like the Falcons made for Julio Jones took gonads. Saying eff it and taking Ryan Mallet would take gonads. Drafting a center in the first round takes no gonads whatsoever.

That's not a knock on Pouncey. He's good and I think he'll get better, but it was the safest pick Ireland could make.

This is pointless....there are Ireland haters...and those of us who think he did fine...not great, but certainly on par with most other GMs. Some will hate no matter what. I want to know where this miraculous GM is that strikes it rich on every decision he ever makes.

Jeff Ireland does a lot of good work for charity

In particular, providing a home for washed-up old Cowboys when they'd be otherwise out on the street

To be fair, we can really only judge him on his time by himself (the last year). On those grounds I think his moves look pretty good. For the most part he seems to select good, smart players who play hard. In Free Agency he was 3 for 4 with Kevin Burnett, Matt Moore and Reggie Bush working out (Colombo was a terrible signing) & 4.5 out of 5 in the draft. The jury's out on Gates. But Charles Clay and Jimmy Wilson are late round steals. I said from the beginning let's give him a chance on his own and see how he does.

Matt Moore
Reggie Bush
Charles Clay
Mike Pouncey
Jimmy Wilson
Daniel Thomas
Kevin Burnett
Brian Dabol
Steve Slaton

Not saying he hasn't made mistakes: 1. Harbaugh debacle 2. Dez Bryant interview 3. Sticking with Henne at first 4. Bringing in Marc Colombo.
But I actually like the make up of our team now. We're tough, we play hard. How many of you recall the Buffalo game where they lost like 12 players to injuries because we banged on them so hard. Opposing coaches don't want to face us any more because we play hard and we're very physical. That is directly due to the talent Ireland has brought in.

the only thing you can point at and for sure give him credit for is the additions this last offseason/cuts/non resigned players and the 2011 draft...thats it

the rest of it no one knows how much influence he had vs parcells

kept jeff fisher away?:hclap::hclap:

i know he personally didnt make the decision, but him being here is what made it so fisher couldnt get full control he wanted, keeping us away from a mediocre coach.

he has done good and bad things so far, but his latest was a victor, lol.
