List all the Positive moves Jeff Ireland has made since his arrival to Miami...

i wonder how people would feel about ireland about right now though had we traded for orton and given him that money and he crapped the bed...i bet it wouldn't be so warm and fuzzy knowing that we were locked into orton on another 3 years at $9 mil per...

thats not a plus for ireland...thats a plus for ross for not letting ireland trade for him and give him a 3 year $27 mil contract like ireland was ready to do...as for you asking me what about the things ireland got right others in this thread did a pretty good job laying his 2011 decisions out on the table...so i didn't bother

It was never reported that Ireland was ready to hand that kind of money over to him.

As far as I saw is that we agreed to trade compensation, but didn't reach an agreement on how much money Orton would recieve. I did hear that Ross didn't want to pay franchise money for Orton, but I would think that Ireland was on the same page. Maybe not, but I never saw anything that said Ireland was ready to open up the bank for Orton.

thats not what i recall...i remember reading multiple reports that ireland was willing to give in to ortons financial demands and broncos compensation demands but ross vetoed it cause of the loot...

it was a hot topic on here during training camp etc...and it wasn't just a bunch of twitter floating crap...at least thats not the way i recall it

Yeah you could be right, but anyways I found this article that gives props to both Ireland and Ross for not pulling the trigger on the trade.

Encouraging Ross not to knuckle under to the extortionist control demands of a mediocre coach who wouldn't even be in consideration if Cowher, Gruden, Andy Reid and Coughlin were available.

Great followup to last year not buckling to conventional wisdom and firing his coach prior to looking to hire a coach then deciding the coach he wants to replace needs an extension lol

So, you're saying it was as legit as a post on a fan board without any links?

Before anyone says anything positive about jeff and his acquisions, it doesnt take much to convince someone to come here especially a player if you throw them tons of money. No one really wanted to come here because ireland did good, we just had tons of money to offer. Anyone could have done that.

Nice objective, unbiased analysis (sarscasm).

Don't know if these are Parcells or Ireland, but here goes.

Jake Long
Richie Incognito
Matt Moore
Reggie Bush
Charles Clay
Davone Bess
Brandon Marshall
Anthony Fasano
Brian Hartline
Mike Pouncey
Jared Odrick
Kendall Langford
Cameron Wake
Randy Starks
Karlos Dansby
Vontae Davis
Sean Smith
Dan Carpenter
Slight correction if I may. Jake Long, Dan Carpenter, Sean Smith, Vontae Davis Kendal Lankford, Cameron wake Anthony Fasano, Randy starks and Karlos Dansby were Parcell's picks along with Jason Ferguson .
