List of free agents.

That's a good question. Idk if we need to spend what money we do have on a RB though. I would much rather look at Mario Williams (who would take up all our cap or I would LOVE Clif Avril from Detroit who will cost quite a bit less. He already said he won't give a hometown discount and won't be happy with the franchise tag.
 
Before anyone mentions Ted Ginn Jr., please take note that they did not list his whole family; therefore, we would only be getting Ginn. No deal. Throw in Grandma Ginn and maybe....just maybe. But Ginn? No way.
 
Williams would be nice, don't know if we can afford to tie up that much on one player, unless J. Long restructures.

Who would have thought a team would actually need Ted Ginn's hands to make it to the superbowl? I think he may re-sign with SF.
 
Ted Ginn as a kick off returner would not be a bad pick up.
Watching him run out of bounds as a reciever definately lowers his market value though.
 
I would not mind at all if ted was taking kicks to.the house again. Thats one thing was pretty good at.
 
Two guys I would like to see us go after are Cliff Avril of the Lions and Adam Snyder of the 49ers. Both won't be high priced players and both would be upgrades for our team.

Avril can rush the passer from either side like Wake and I think he's athletic enough to play OLB in the 3-4...obviously he can play DE in the 4-3. Put him on the line with Odrick rushing from the inside at DT and Wake on the other side and it would be a strong pass rush from the front 4 in 4 man fronts.

Adam Snyder is listed there as a OT but he started at RG last year for the 49ers for 13 games and did a decent job. He could start at RG or RT if needed and would provide some depth which we don't have. He'd be better than what we have over there now but I would want him more for depth than starter.

Avril is good but isn't worth the money he's going to command.
 
Hey how about Mario Manningham? he would be a great #2 with Marshall opposite. how much is he going to command?
