List of free agents.

Instead of having 1/3 of our WR position dedicated to special teams, I wouldn't mind going for 2 cheaper veteran Wrs with different skill sets that would make our spread offense more dynamic. Eddie Royal and Manningham would be cool, or even a cheaper option like Josh Morgan. Is Roberto Wallace even worth trying to develop anymore? Could we still use him?
 
There is no way Mario Manningham is going anywhere! As good of an option as that would be, I just don't see any situation where he isn't a Giant next year.
 
I think that Lydon Murtha looked interesting enough in 2010 and preseason 2011 that he should get a look somewhere on the OL. I'm waffling on him versus Nate Garner. He's just so much more explosive than Garner and he's not out there looking like Edward Scissorhands when it comes to hand placement and technique anymore. I think he may still be a liability in pass protection (couldn't be more of a liability than Colombo though)...but very intriguing as a run blocker especially at the second level.

Trying to come up with highly underrated free agents is not easy. So far I've got Mark Anderson and Anthony Collins. Those guys have actual values that are far higher than what I feel they're destined to get financially.

John Abraham may be the same because of his age. You'll have to look at him like a yearly subscription player, cancel anytime. But if his SALARY, not just the guaranteed portion but the salary itself, dips because of age...that's where I believe smart team should pounce.

There's a possibility that safety Mike Adams will join the list of semi-young (he's 30), undervalued free agents.

Demetrius Bell, Brandon Keith and Adam Goldberg might be worth checking out...but I'd have to dig in to be sure. Mike Brisiel is definitely worth checking out, as are Jeremy Zuttah, Chris Myers and Evan Mathis. Chris Carr is a good nickel player.

My choices are the following (one in each category):

Matt Flynn, La'Ron McClain, Jermichael Finley, Dwayne Bowe, Max Starks, Carl Nicks, Dan Koppen, Robert Mathis, Paul Soliai, Mario Williams, Lardarius Webb and Dashon Goldson. The Phins K and P don't need replacing.

I'll take Matt Flynn, either Mario Manningham or Pierre Garcon, and John Abraham unless williams could come at a cheap enough price. We do need a safeties though...
 
Is Polimolu a free agent?? We need to go after him if he is...
