There is clearly plenty of debate on TH being the guy on here and his short comings are brought to the forefront regularly. I personally still am not 100% convinced that he is THAT dude, but am optimistic that with great coaching that can change because the kid does show flashes of great skill and ability for the position.

Just for some fun, asking people to name 1 strength of his that you love.

Ill start it off with: TOUGHNESS

My favorite thing about TH is he is one tough son of a bitch. Playing WR in college probably attributes to being able to take the hits this guy takes and man has he taken some hits in the NFL. The kid has taken a pounding behind this sorry ass O-line for years and he just keeps getting back up. Makes me think of David Carr and how he just crumbled from a similar situation. But not this guy. He has taken some shots that are just bone crunching and you gotta give him credit where its due. Mental & physical toughness might be his biggest strength, a key component of the QB position might I add.

Thanks.

Doesn't turn the ball over much.

One thing I like about him is he doen't throw many int's compared to past QB's we've had like Henne omg lol.

He's a good face of the franchise / good kid. I shared I got to watch a good chunk of the Denver-Seattle SB w him. Was really taken at how nice, gracious and humble he was. I think this stuff is important for your QB to have. I don't like the QB drama guys being the face of a team - guys like Cam for example. It takes away from the team. Ryan is a good role model.

Lauren Tannehill. LOL. I actually agree with all of you. I dont think he is the reason we lose, not the reason we win either, but for now, til the next marino I am fine with him, ppl think Brady, Brees, Manning, happen every year.

He is definitely one tough SOB thats for sure.

Another thing I like about Tannehill is when he rolls out of the pocket. He seems to produce when he does that. He certainly has the athletic ability to be very effective while on the run.

Solid taste in architecture.

That house he just bought was designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and it's pretty sweet.

His ability to survive despite lack of production.

Trolling 90% of Dolphins fans. Heck he even makes Dolphins fans follow his relator.

He is good at targeting his weaknesses and doing a good job of improving on them year to year

It's like he is a lurker on FH or something because it seems every year we find a fault in his game he improves on it the following year.

I have a very fuzzy memory but I do believe the first thing was decision making/accuracy. He throws some 70% completion games together and better td-int ratio and it's no longer a question.

He also did better on his deep ball qb rating this year, which was heavily scrutinized the year before.

Idk but I think this is a key skill for long term success. Whether we let him get that far on our team is a totally different discussion. He has to continue that trend in 2016 to stick around.

Works his ass off trying to improve, he accuracy on the run is deadly.

It's like he is a lurker on FH or something

Honestly wouldn't surprise me one bit if a bunch of guys read these boards. I mean hell, if there was an entire forum dedicated to my specific job/passion and all I needed to access it was a phone, I'd be all over it :p

He has taken a beating with very minimal missed time....tough as nails! He has thrown for a 2 to 1 TD to int ratio the last 2 years plus well over 4000 yards each season despite a bad O-Line that got worse with injury. He was 6-2 with the Pouncey, Albert, and James in the line up. He is smart, accurate, and has a live arm. He hasn't blamed the O-Line at all, even though he could. He spreads the ball around well. He is athletic and can makes plays with his feet. Awesome attitude, a clean cut guy you want as the face of your franchise.

His touch throws get overlooked. He's thrown the ball through some narrow windows along with leading receivers in the mid range. That deep ball is getting better too.

His ability to survive despite lack of production.

I'd say his ability to survive despite the lack of personnel support. His production based off of the **** he's been through is staggering.
