List some advantages we have coming into Sunday's game.

No way...Shanahan said he would be surprised if one of guys wasn't in Hawaii at the end of theseason? I think I read last year that Heizenga wouldn't be surprized if AJ Feeley isn't the next Marino? We shall see.

Next Marino eh? Thats one hardcore prediction...

Here are your advantages:

1. Your Defense. If you attack aggrsively, Plummer can be forced to make a mistake.

2. You have an excellent home opener record.

3. Shanahan has a terrible record in Florida. He has lost most of his games he's played in Florida.

4. Your team is looked at as "weak" by many. We tend to drop games we "should" win because we look past them and don't prepare or whatever.

Denver's Advantages:

1. Our defense is also very good. Our corners are solid. Our linebackers are the fastes and some argue best in the league. The line was the weak link and while we've been heckled for the "brownco" pick-ups, they looked exceptional in preseason. That could mean nothing at all when we use live ammo, so we'll see.

2. Our offense will be better than last year. We've been slowly upgrading our line and we are deep at running back. Your run defense isn't the strongest point of your D, or at least is wasn't last year (could be different now) and we love to run the ball.

3. Jake Plummer hasn't thrown a bad pass since last season. I'm sure it will happen but preseason usually is a sign of things to come. Last year during preseason he threw for 4 ints in five games and zero touchdowns. During the offseason they worked on reading some defenses with him and he finished the preseason with zero interceptions and one of the highest QB ratings of preseason. Again, its preseason which could mean total crap, but it gives you a rough idea of how he'll look.

4. The Broncos play their best ball in September.

My prediction: A defensive battle. You guys will put up a good fight but your offensive woes will catch up and we'll win this one by a field goal or two.

Now: Commence the "Ban him" posts this site is famous for. :D

Sounds good.

Shanahan also thought that Clarett was 3rd round talent. And the next big thing in Denver.

The only way Gerard Warren gets after Ronnie is if Shanny somehow scotch tapes some burgers to Ronnie's body and sets that big oaf loose.

Next big thing? I believe we still had Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell on the roster during draft time.

That just proves his stupidity. If you are deep at a position why would you take a player at that position in the 3rd round.

Denvers D line. Are they going to live up to potential, or be like in cleveland?

Mike Anderson is 32 years old and was recovering from a groin injury. Tatum Bell was injury plagued last season as well. Quentin Griffin was coming off an ACL tear (and was cut recently.) We didn't know if Dayne would be a bust for us or not. Reuben Drougns was traded to Cleveland. Going into the offseason, we didn't know if our depth was going to break down or not. Taking a new back guaranteed we had someone young at the possition should the other guys not be able to recover.

Shanahan is 0/6 on gamedays in Miami. He will be 0/7 after this weekend. Big days from Boston receiving and Welker on returns. The Miami D will have enough big plays to keep the Broncos running game in check. If we can clean up the sloppy play on offense we may yet be formidable.

Of all the RB's to take, Clarett? Some guarantee he was.

Mike is back and will be the starter. Tatum Bell is probably going to supplant him by the middle of the season and Dayne lost several pounds and looked good enough to back those two up. Q is the odd man out. Sometimes your draft picks don't work out. I promise there are no tears in Denver over miffing on our compensitory third round pick, number 101.

Yeah, except for Warren those are some pretty impressive names.

That would be like a Denver fan saying "Who?" if I listed: JT, Zach, Sam, KC, Junior, Channing, and TBuck.
Thanks bud. That was sarcasm, I guess I'll have to look to some Jets or Bills fans for some support. Appreciate it!
