Watching NFL Network, and theyre discussing Lito Sheppard.. And they said, the Eagles will definitely be trading him, and it will most likely happen on draft day... with that said, if you were the the Dolphins GM, would you deal out a, 5th, maybe 4th round pick...He would be a great addition and would be our #1 corner, moving Will Allen to his more comfortable #2 spot. That would substantially help us out on the defensive side. Oh and the theme of the Fins is to get MUCH younger, good news there, Sheppard will only be 27 by game day.

Or how about something completely different...Trade Joey Porter straight up for Lito Sheppard, lookin at the Eagles LBs, they could definitely use a pass rushing OLB

check out his phenomonal numbers...

Yeah, I seen earlier. Joey Porter was our best player last year and he was coming off a major injury so hell no don't trade him! I want to see what he can do for us. He was arguably the best LB in football after the Pitt game. They said they need a WR and may look to trade up in the 2nd round by trading Lito with their pick. I would probably jump on that. Bill and co. will know alot about Lito from Dallas and if he can play they will know his worth.

Porter, our best player last year?!

No disrespect, but were we watching the same team? Porter was pretty much non existant til the end of the season... He was definitely not worth the money hes getting paid.. and hes only gonna be a year older

absolutely would give a 4th for him, but the rumors i'm hearing is they want something close to what the falcons got for D. Hall and no way we or anyone else should give up a 2nd rounder for him.

They would take that in a heart beat but that would be the stupidest trade joey porter is a good player who plays all 16 ussaly and Lito who Plays about half the games and that is it i would give them a 6th since we dont have a 5th or i would even consider a 4th but i would hope the dolphind would give up joey Porter

As much as I would like to see Lito here I just think that the Eagles are going to be asking too much for him.

He was injured and hands down one of the best 2 players to play with heart all year. Will Allen was the other. And yeah, from the Pitt game on Joey was the best LB in football IMO. He was also in a terrible situation with a coaching staff that had him in terrible positions half the year.

Didn't the Eagles just sign Clemons a good pass rushing linebacker from the Raiders? They will want picks most likely and it will have to be at least a 3rd.

I think you undervalue Sheppard. I would think a JT for Sheppard and a pick trade would benefit both sides (a 3rd rounder or so). I think a Jimmy Johnson would love to have JT to play with, he LOVES his defensive linemen.

How can you say that he isn't worth the money when 1) he was recovering from a knee injury and 2) our coaching staff last year had the bright idea of using our best BLITZING LINEBACKER as a defensive end. Parcells and Co. won't make that mistake.

I'd be ok with a third or into a third conditional, they lost kearse so maybe lito and 19th overall for taylor and 2nd wither first or second in the second im not sure...

If we could trade Porter for Sheppard, I would do it. Porter was a bad, I mean really bad investment. To get a 27 year old stud CB in the prime of his career for an aging, loudmouth LB, on the downslope of his career would be a steal!

I find it funny how some on this site want a 1st for Taylor or say he is worth it, yet will only give up a 5th 4th or 3rd for Lito or believe that Philly would give him up for that.

I would easily give up a 2nd for him. Young solid corner. Know what we are getting and wouldn't have to worry that our choice was right in the 2nd round.

Yes he is worth it, quite frankly I would even trade Taylor straight up for him. Get solid value for an aging defensive lineman who will be done in 2-3 years anyway and in return get a pretty darn good CB who would make our secondary young and very dangerous.

If Bell can stay healthy Bell/Hill/Allen/Lito and Allen make up a very solid secondary

were u watching the same team?

1) He missed evrythign due to surgery and had to get into game shape, team chemistry w/out practices or anything that usually goes on in the offseason, understanding the system. It isnt/wasnt an easy system to learn and he even played in a different position known as DE!

Half the players were complaining about that issue we had. then half way thru once he got more settled in you saw the difference and he was very active. Who was close to being better then him in the 2nd half on D? JT? plz he had more penalities by himself then ive seen a whole team make outside of miami. and got abused on the RUN and always put himself out of running plays.
