Lito's Sheppards agent met with Dolphins

Team president Joe Banner says Lito Sheppard's failure to report for OTA work will not influence the Eagles' decision of whether to trade him.

"He will be with us this year," Banner said. One of Sheppard's agents reportedly met with the Dolphins recently in an effort to "ramp up" their interest in his client. That might've been a logical landing spot had Michael Lehan's injury proved more serious. Bet on Lito remaining an Eagle in '08.

i dont think they want him When the rumors with Jason Taylor came up i though the dolphins would make an offer for Lito Sheperd. Lito is a great player and will make a diffrence i just dont think he is a tuna type of guy.. maybe trade him for a 3rd or4th rounder
