Shockey may be older, injury prone whatever, but he is still a weapon. WHen he is on the field, teams have to account for him, Marshall and Bess.
Will make things even easier for our QB. I hope :)

What has Shockey done to get everyone so excited?

The guy will turn into a Sparano pumping screaming lunatic after a 10 yard catch. perhaps his only of the game.

This eerily reminds me of us signing Porter a few years ago. Sure the guy has fire, but does he have any gas in the tank?

Hows shockeys run blocking?

We could use his enthusiasm on offense in the 2 tight end set i could see shockey being hennes security blanket.

ya i remember brees being a god like QB his 2nd year. the wheels on the bus go round and round
 
It's that time of the year. Time for us to get played and he signs elsewhere, but hey not signing Ryan Clark isn't what caused the craptacular 2010 season . This isn't a make or break signing so I'm not even going to care if this is just game playing in the final hour.

Great point, Shockey must be asking for alot of money otherwise I think he would have been signed by now.

Marshall was double and triple covered probably 85% of the time...you want Henne to throw it up? If he did and got picked off you would b*tch about that....Marshall had over 1000 yards and barely any yards after catch. The problem wasnt just Henne it was Marshall and Henning too.
 
Since Marshalls stats are what we are going off of. The only other time in his career that Marshall had worse stats than this year, was his rookie year. What? He was waiting till he got to Miami, to regress a little? Please!
 
Shockey is awesome. Shockey is an improvement. Shockey keeps us from waisting picks on TE. Haynos is gone, Shockey is in. I am one happy Dolfan.
