i was checkin out the nub's videos again and noticed taht DMac seemed to be very slow especilly off the line and thats when he gave up aa sack or broke the line down and notcied out teague did NOT hold his grond when we played the bills so i would not have much interest in him but anyways so i checked madden and to see the speed of the LT"s in the NFL and majority that are very good LT are pretty darn quick but LJ is a bit slower i believe then Dmac or a slightly faster. this worries me a lot.

Call me when you find a 6ft6 340 pound guy who runs fast

I don't think you can trust Madden ratings to see how good someone is because some of their ratings can be way off. The only way you can really tell how fast LJ is, is by watching tapes of him.

Yeah Madden's ratings are off alot! They try as hard as they can to make them close but they don't. Then again like said above you call me when you are 6'6 and 345 and run fast. He is huge! He does not really have to move that much and he will hold his ground! He won't be pulling or anything and he might olny be used on a screen a couple of times.

A healthy Boston is much faster than Welker. Welker is agile and has good vision but has very little straight line speed for a WR/KR.

I agree Madden ratings should never be used for real life comparisons. Good but slower players like TO are automatically faster than bad players who really should be faster.

Hey SR 7, if you don't have the dolphins vs. browns game on tape you can watch Shelton on nubs video Dolphins vs browns. He's #70 LT.
Anyway his pass blocking isn't that great and he can get beat with the speed rush on the outside. And he's not good being put on an island. But he's pretty strong and he's decent when he locks on.
His run blocking is good (better than Dmac).
And yeah he's not that fast. But LT's don't really need straight line speed. They need lateral quickness to help recover from double moves.
But I'd say Shelton is a slight upgrade from DMac because of his run blocking. But he's still gonna need somebody to help him out w/the pass rush.

So how did our DEs and other pass-rushers do against L.J. in the past Browns game?
I'm assuming well but the score indicated the offense pretty much sucked which is true now that I remember the numbers from Gus and Sage.

One good thing, he'll get plenty of practice against one of the faster rushers (taylor) so maybe this will help him pick up the pace.

Dude....That was one of the longest and worst run on sentences I have ever read. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it's hard to read what you are saying when you don't break up your thoughts.
