LJ's TD

Scum-bag shouldn't be wearing #23. It's an insult to the previous 2 guys to wear it.

That said, nice run. It's more of the same from his KC days. Follow the big man in front of you to daylight.

The glorification of a running back who only topped 1,000 yards once is just a little silly to me. Ronnie Brown is to running backs what Channing Crowder was to linebackers- average and injury prone, and I don't see anyone holding Crowder's number in reverance.

I meant that more in reverance to Surtain than Ronnie but if nothing else Ronnie Brown was a stand up citizen, a face for this ball club and all-around pretty much the anti-LJ off the field.

I re-iterate, scum bag shouldn't be wearing that number.

I've got no problem with brown personally, he played hard and was for the most part a model citizen. But numbers aren't retired, or at least placed on hold, for football players just because they were really great guys.

point taken

he looked good on that play and still has that knack to get to the endzone. we need to hang on to him for sure. Bush is likely to get nicked up at some point and then we have a rookie who hasn't exactly tore it up yet.

that TD seemed to be all Larry J cus the blocking wasnt exactly steller on the right side. Jerry looked off balance blocking air (but i guess when defenders running backwards i guess thats how it goes). strange play on blocking. wonder if dallas d just lame there.

Actually, the blocking was excellent. Mastrud blocked down on his man. Willis pulled from RT and made a good block on the edge. And Hilliard, playing FB, made two blocks on the play. He made a chip at the line, and the sealed the outside with a block on the second level.

Larry Johnson will play a major roll for us this year. Very low mileage and he is looking to prove a point and redeam himself. LOOK OUT!!!!

if bush goes down lj could fill the role nicely

In the ground game maybe. If Bush goes down, we will lose a lot of potential production in the passing game.

Ronnie number was more easily replaced than Ricky's..Tells you who this team thought was the better of the two..Ricky's words may have stuck with Ireland and Sporano and why they didn't resign him.

LJ has lost more than a step, you will all see in the regular season vs starters.

was I the only one who noticed that Wallace was for **** blocking on that play? lazy mofo.
