Lock 'Em In | Miami Dolphins

My gawd ,I hope we continue developing. I love what I am seeing. I am 57 years old, my one and only team since I was 6-8 years old. I had coat, hat, mittens, etc from the Sears walk-in order store. Being from NJ Dolphin gear wasn't readily available. Games were seldom on TV except when they made the playoffs, no internet of course, and my only connection was a mail-order NFL magazine that was printed before the season started and had a page or two dedicated to the Dolphins. I digress, they are the only team I have ever rooted for (Phillies too) and FB trumps all. I have been through mostly pain with them, dysfunction, embarrassment, and shattered hopes year in and out. My fondest memory in the past decade + was having RW flatten defenders (Jets) on prime-time national tv. I also really focused on the JT, ZT, Cox, Madison, Surtain, Webb years because they were on TV more.

Now, with the internet, NFL tickets, it's an every day, all-season passion. I am a pessimist, an extremely loyal fan, who wants to see us in some playoff football consistently. I don't mind the strong rivalry within the division, in fact, look forward to battling the Bills for the next decade as long as it's 50/50 or better, not a NE type of dynasty thing like we just went through. Anywho, love what I'm seeing, let's keep the good going.

Been waiting to hear this comment for SO DAMN LONG…

That would be the perfect hoodie if those orange stripes on the sleeve were gone.

And I’m wary of the media attention because if we lose one game, the narrative will be that the regime is a failure and we wasted all those picks. I prefer flying under the radar.

Is this bizarro world? I'm having trouble processing the fact that the Dolphins are getting so much love from the media.
Yeah, it never ends well when they pump up the volume.

I'd rather go Ninja mode and in the end they say, I can't believe they won the Super Bowl!

It is hard to be an optimist as a football fan of most teams. Look how many franchises have yet to win a super bowl. It's no easy feat.

My brother has been a Vikings fan since the early 70's and they've had some great teams, including a 15-1 season. Yet, no championships. Buffalo is 0-4 in the super bowl etc.

Miami has the talent to make a run. It's a better team, on paper, after trading for Chubb and Wilson.

If the Dolphins can avoid more injuries and get hot at the end, why not? I think this Miami team is better than the Cincinnati team that made it to the super bowl last year.
