As a starting QB in college he did suk but they might be looking at him for the scout team QB to practice against or maybe even TE.

After seeing hickeys comments on the signing, it sounds like he likes Thomas as a QB not as a developmental TE

A ridiculous statement. It can and is much, much worse.

Logan Thomas on an NFL field has been us versus Buffalo in December 2013 bad. And he wasn't good in college, was overdrafted because there's always someone out there who things they can teach a tall QB to actually play the position, and he has been so terrible in the pros his original team gave up on him after a year.
 
Hes intriguing but i wouldn't waste the roster spot on a 3rd QB
 
I thought he looked really good for Cards last preseason and came through in clutch when they had a slew of injuries.

Outside of the hashes I know he's a good dude. Sponsors local basketball team back in Virginia and was active with the organization before he got drafted.
 
At least we know who Hickey's been drooling over in that draft.

This concerning to me. Hickey also got another tall sliw developing back up with big armbin Freeman. He believes in that which means he believes in ground and pound and sling it deep of playaction football, which is not what Philbin is doing, and that's problem.
