Let me ask you a question...What do you want the dolphins to do? Why do you follow them so much? Why are you such a loyal fan?

A few reasons...I have watched since I was a kid...30+ years and just got stuck on a winning organization.

Yeah, maybe you are right, and between us, I love Marino, wouldn't have wanted anything more tahn see him win the SB, hell man, I am as big a Phin fan as the next guy...I sat through every game, except the last two of last season .

His records are a thing of beauty, what I want to express is how blinded many Miami fans have been with Marino being the best this and that, while our own division could care less about records and have gone to forget about anything of the past and concentrate on the future. In other words, until fans don't let Marino and the Dupers and the Clayton, etc. etc. as Miami's Face, this team ain't going nowhere.



Now Saban, there is the face of the organization, Im in new Orleans, Ive seen pleanty of him, he will definitely make everyone see the light. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Whether or not we keep hanging on to our past greatness really has nothing to do with the direction we are going. Geez. hanging on that exact past greatness is why I continue to wear my Dolphin shorts (and not the one’s from the 80’s that Richard Simmons made popular) and shirts, and hats while I support them presently and on into the future.



I am not looking through rose-colored glasses when I say I think we are potentially 2-3 years from hoisting the Lombardi trophy.

I don't think he's really "bashing" Marino...He has some arguable views that we may not agree with, but he's not bashing.

Jim Rome is great, and "The Jungle" is the best sports radio show. He gets the best interviews, so he has an opinion, and it's usually pretty funny who cares. Alot of the Dolfans who post here are too think skinned IMO, any negative things written about the Phins and the writer is automatically an idiot, or does not know what he's talking about, which is why they get paid for doing what they're doing right?

He can say what he wants about Marino. he is a pretentious, self righteous know it all who thinks he is better than everyone else. "the jungle" as he calls it is losing stations all over the place, he isnt even played where I live anymore thank god. He is a journalist that acts as if he is more knowledgeable than the coaches and players, which he aint. It isnt that he said something about Marino, who cares, marino was one of teh greatest of all time, Rome is a never was.

Anyone just see the end of Rome is Burning? Rome was talking about the QB Challange coming up and how Marino was going to be there. He said something to the effect of:

"Dan Marino? Never won a superbowl Dan marino? Doesnt he have something better to do than compete against Drew Brees by throwing outpatterns to golf carts and yelling at them when they ran the wrong route like he did his Dolphin teamates? Stick to the booth.. Hasselhoff!"

I would pay money to see it!

So I've never seen this little twerp before , but apparently he's just another guy with no talent who gets ratings by creating controversey. That's the kinda guy everyone loves to see get thrown on the floor, even if it does get him media hype.
