Reporters are the worst lol. They NEED to report on this so it looks like they are doing their job, they need to give their opinion on it even if they have ZERO clue on whats going on. It's easy for reporters to lie and say their "sources" told them this, told them that. They won't get in trouble because they don't need to reveal their "sources" or else what good are they?
My opinion: Ross learned his lesson last year with Harbaugh, his people and the organization most likely said it was a real bad move by going all out for Harbaugh and flying all over to try and get him. Peyton's people probably said the same thing and said they don't want something crazy like what Ross did. Or just agreed not to put it out in public that they both have a great deal of interest. I do think Peyton still has interest in Miami but also Denver and Arizona, obviously. I do feel he will make a meeting with Miami tomorrow or tuesday, then you will see all these flip flop reporters say miami is the favorite. We might not be, but the reporters will say that just because he is in Miami. I think its a greater chance because we most lilkely will be his last visit which is a great advantage.
This scenario reminds me a little of Asomugha and the Eagles. Yeah there wasn't any reports at all that Asomugha was even interested, their people did good. We were just assumed to be a landing spot, no reports of us meeting with him or not. I mean its hard to do a sneaky sign when we are already reported to be one of the top teams, but maybe that happens when no one expects it.
