Lombardi just said later tonight or first thing in the morning for Fisher

FISHER will make his decision on Friday the 13th. Good "vibes", right?

I have a bad feeling that we're doing all this waiting, he'll pick us over the rams and then we'll never win anything with him and we'll regret passing on other guys that actually WANT to be here.....you can tell the guy doesn't really want to come here but he's thinking that going to ST. Louis is even worst.

Ozzy rules!!

Maybe he's stalling to see if Caldwell gets fired.

Very, very possible. I think it's unlikely that he's really spending this much time waffling. I think he has an angle and he is taking his time to leverage it as much as he can.

btw, how about those jets players saing MS is lazy and don't work hard cause he knows he won't be benched....at least we know that Henne did work hard all off season....lol

Ozzy rules!!

IMO, if you like both teams pretty much the same, something is still going to tip it for you one way or the other. But if there is something that scares the hell out of you about both, you might be more apprehensive about pulling the trigger.

I can't get past the idea that he's waiting for something else to happen.

Come on Jeff. You don't have too many lofty standards to live up to in Miami. After all, our coaches have pretty much sucked since Shula was here in the 1980's

Overnight low in St Louis of 29 degrees, Miami - shorts and flip flops...you decide

I may possibly win the lotto if I played everyday.maybe today,tomorrow...15 years from now.ill just avoid all of this nonsense till I see "breaking news" at the bottom of nfl network or ESPN.this is annoying...he better do a damn good job with all this trouble...

Don't want to feel like you've had the football pulled out from under you?

I am going to take a nap, wake me up when he decides...

he will make a decision right after the Number #7 pick of the draft, right before Miami picks!

I'm actually hoping he DOESN'T take the job. I fail to see the hype for a coach whose last 7 years included ZERO playoff wins, two playoff losses, and had a combined W/L record of 54-58 during regular season - epic FAIL.

I believe this delay was too give the Rams a chance to get on an even footing with the Dolphins as an organization, and perhaps even money on the table. Some of Fisher's old friends like Lake Dawson have been interviewed for the GM position...hopefully the Dolphins don't end up with egg on their face again as they did last year with Harbaugh.

I worry that Fisher is holding out taking the Rams position forcing the Rams to mold the organization the way he wants it, and to up their ante.

We should find out soon if the Rams fail to satisfy him...and he accepts the Dolphins gig as a fallback.

It seems obvious to me that he was satisfied with what he saw in Miami and did not need to see more, whereas he has spent far more time looking at the Rams situation, and the only logical conclusion for this delay to me is that he is holding out waiting for the Rams to step it up.

I think he actually wants the Rams but the looming thought of the Rams moving to L.A and lack of assurance or commitment from Kroenke that they will not is whats keeping him from committing. If Kroenke can move to L.A you better believe he's gone. Larger market, lot's more $$$$ What else could it possibly be?
