Lombardi & La Canfora give u 0% chance of signing manning, say were rebuilding

yeah, then 2 seconds later Darlington said he has inside sources that continue to tell him that Miami is not out and Marshall move keeps him in. just sayin. for every media opinion there is another saying something different.

I just know this....Laconfora and his brother dont have a clue where Manning is going. Not a clue. no one does. Not even Manning based on what we hear about needing time.
 
I got Lombardi mixed up with someone else. My mistake.

It was Michael Silver who wrote that article, who also happens to be one of the best sports writers in the country as far as actual writing goes, and in no way resembles being a shill of any sort.

And saying that someone is one of the best sports writers when it comes to actual writing is really damning someone with the faintest praise.
 
Rebuilding? No. Retooling. Yes.

Rebuilding is gutting your roster. We got rid of one bad egg and re-signed an important cog in our defense.

That's pretty funny, and sadly true. In this case though, Silver really can write. He may be outlandish and a bit inflammatory, but I just meant that he is an actual writer, who is very good at his craft, as opposed to Lombardi and the like, who are are just glorified reporters, and I'm using that term lightly.

He's not on par with guys like Joe Posanski, Paul Zimmerman, or the late Will McDonough, but he's well above most of the drek that is out there.

Lol. I love your last quote. It's so true. People, listen carefully....NO ONE KNOWS, ok. For all we know, Peyton really wants to play in Miami and is looking for something that might be a difference t to sway him. He's thinking 3 or 4 more years of playing, so what's on the field right now might not matter to him. If it were as simple as some of these talking monkeys make it seem, Manning would have decided by now.
