The unsold US fan team allocations have been returned and tickets are on sale again for the Jets in London on ticketmaster. Despite my better judgement I just grabbed one

I know some people were trying to buy them a few weeks ago, thought I should post incase anyone is still looking for one

I know this isnt what the thread is about, but does anyone know about the U.S. broadcast for this game? Will it be shown nationwide on CBS, or can you only see it on Sunday ticket? We are having a big party for my son's 1st birthday that weekend, and have family staying over, so I'd like to get some plans made. I tried google, but couldn't get a clear answer, and didn't feel it warranted its own thread. Any help from my fellow finfans would be great!

Considering it is at 9:30am Eastern I would say it will be shown Nationwide.

And if all fails CBS does selected live streaming this year and Jets@Dolphins in London is one of the first one.

First up for the service will be a broadcast of the New York Jets taking on the Miami Dolphins in London on Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. ET. The following month, CBS Sports will stream Thanksgiving’s meeting of the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys when it airs at 4:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 26. That will be it for the regular season, but NFL ON CBS will later bring us some of the playoff action.

If nothing else, we're getting to sit in the most historic soccer stadium in the world. And eat the best burger in London at Victoria's sports bar & grill.

pfffft its 10 year old US style stadium with more luxury bars than seats :p

but I get your point, the new Wembley is a great stadium probably the best I have ever visited (would need to be for what it cost) but it doesn't have the feel of the old one, or the history of grounds like camp nou, old Trafford etc.

Every seat has a great view though. Theres a cool toy that lets you see the view from your seat http://www.wembleystadium.com/TheStadium/ViewFromYourSeat.aspx

i was in club Wembley last year, but I got a cheap seat this year, got a good view last year (right under the scoreboard) but apart from shorter lines to get in etc I didnt think it was worth the extra money

Anyone going looking to split a hotel?

I am staying in the same place as last year; Ealing (20 min bus ride straight to the stadium) and got the Sunday night for £50, if you cant find someone to split you can get a hotel fairly cheap if you look around a bit. The Saturday was annoyingly expensive though, but id like to go out drinking with the beat writers etc like last year so booked it anyway

I was looking at Hyde park as I am staying in London for about a week. Is it really that easy to jump on the tube and go anywhere? I don't want to do a hostel or air bnb, just feel weird taying in someones house, or sharing a room with a bunch of people in a bunk bed. The hotels I find for cheap all have horrible reviews.

Try travelodge and premier inn. I always stay with those 2

Yea the tube is great. Could be a bit rough getting home from the game though. Stay in travelloddge ealing and il buy you a beer lol

But yea if you stay in the center of london the tube is amazing
