Long and/or Pennington may still end up going to the Pro Bowl

Long is a first alternate, meaning that if one of the three Tackles selected can't go because of an injury, Long will take his place.

Pennington has a bigger hill to climb though. He is a second alternate.

Won't argue about Roos getting in he does deserve the bid. I give credit to the Titans, he was a guy that most said was a huge reach in the draft, and he has become a dominant LT.

Now Peters on the other hand should not be anywhere near the pro bowl this year, and Joe Thomas probably shouldn't either. Peters has had a couple outstanding years coming into this season, but he's given up 12.5 sacks so far this season, Clady and Long together have given up 1/4 of that (3 combined sacks).

Rivers should be in the pro bowl so no arguments there. Favre will probably skip the pro bowl, but I Peyton probably won't, and I can't see Cutler saying no unless he gets hurt.

Our defense can certainly help Penny get 1 step closer with a crash meeting with Farve in the backfiekd!!!!!!

I doubt Favre will play in the pro bowl. The x-factor is Peyton because he usually does, but he is getting older and they might not be willing to risk it with him.
