Didn't get to watch the game only the highlights. Saw when Long absolutely mauled Jarvis Green on a Ronnie Brown TD. Then saw highlights when Long was playing RT. Thought I saw a highlight when he was back at LT.

Anyone know what was the deal? Vernon get hurt?

No they shifted the line, it was more like long shifted to TE than him shifting to RT

Interesting. Not a bad idea to have Carey and Long lined up next to each other creating space. Did Long line up at TE only on running plays or did Henning call for pass plays out of that package as well?

In our Wildcat formation Jake lines up as a TE next to Carey on the right side. If by that package you mean the Wildcat formation, then yes we did pass out of it. Not trying to be a dick but did you see the game, or even the highlights of the game?

No, I just imagined it. As I indicated in original post I only saw the highlights. My attention was on Ronnie but noticed 77 making a couple of blocks on the right side. Does it really matter? Not trying to be a dick, but will be one anyways...

The Wildcat formation is as follows, from left to right. It's called an unbalanced line.

TE-G-C-G-T-T

So for us, that went:
Fasano-Smiley-Satele-Ndukwe-Carey-Long

This is nothing new.. Cleveland lineup up Joe Thomas on the right side as a TE against the Steelers last week on about 8 plays... If you saw that game, the commentators showed it repeatedly.

Cleveland does the unbalanced line thing as well.
