Where is the reset button?
If you have been following the phins for a very long time you know that our season isn't over. It cannot be yet because the screw hasn't been drilled in hard enough yet for the pain to really accumulate. You short term fans need to listen up because other than that 1-15 season and the 4-12 season a few years ago, the dolphins NEVER go away quietly.
I can see this happening.
The saints beat the pats and the dolphins BEAT the pats giving us an opportunity. The dolphins will find a way to get HOT and beat the jags, titans and texans and it will all come down to the last game of the season. The steelers will have something to play for and somehow we will be TIED with the pats the last game of the years. We will be beating the steelers the whole game and then Henning will call the gayest play of all time with 4th and goal with 2 seconds left and the dolphins down by 6. It will go something like this:
Henne will do that goddamn roll out play to the top of your tv screen (assuming dolphins are driving left to right) and be rolling against his throwing side and put the ball up. The ball will bounce off ted ginns hands, smack Polamalu in the head, ricochet off another defender, and into the hands of a phins player all alone in the corner of the endzone. The phins player will be someone like Joey Haynos who will ultimately drop the ball with NOBODY around him. However the refs will throw a defense penalty and give the dolphins the chance to run another pay with no time on the clock. Then Henning will bring in Pat White to run some kind of crap option pistol ****. White will get the ball and roll to the bottom of your screen with ricky trailing near the goaline. As he is taking off towards the endzone he will be smacked and then pitch to ricky who will get popped by 9 steelers guys about 2 inches short of the endzone. The play will be reviewed and we will come up short. The patriots will win their last game on a phantom hit to brady's helmet allowing them to move into a fg range and the ball will be kicked and bounce off the bottom of the goalpost, hit the upright and go through. Pats fans will rejoice with snowballs in the air...
