Is it me...or is he implying something here in his analysis of our season? lol

The rankings are all B or B+ and then for coaching he gives us a C. His overall grade of our team? C. It seems to me hes saying

"yes, this is a very talented team with great players and all they need is a coach that will get them over that hump........"oh...hi, there steven. wink wink"

Clearly! Great catch on this, it's obvious he is campaigning for it. It's not as if Failbin didn't earn a C all on his own.

JFC.

Yeah, it's somewhat shameful considering everyone knows the game has past him by. But sadly enough he'd still be an improvement and everyone knows it, that's why you have so many ex-coaches making that statement.

8-8 kinda is a "C". 10-6 a "B" and a playoff win an "A".

Billick> Philbin. He wasn't that bad at 80-63 overall season, 5-3 in Playoffs. He was a good Offensive minded coach.

I'm not a Billick fan but I also don't have anything against the guy. I know he's supposed to be an offensive minded coach and couldn't find himself a QB in Baltimore but he also still won a championship, so I really don't understand how he never got a second chance to coach somewhere. Would love to be a fly on the wall during his interview sessions.

My God Billick gave Joe a C! 8-8 he must have a better grade! I cannot believe it!

He was generous IMO with his grades.

i would take him as dolphins head coach. we would make playoff or hire or oc

Didn't Billick cost Ross millions with that boneheaded playcall back in 2007? I remember reading somewhere Huizenga upped the price after that lone win.

Either way, he's light years better than Philbin. If he's making subtle hints then he might truly want back in the game. I just don't see it being here. I'd rather give a guy like Shanahan another chance but even he is probably not the right choice.

If we do indeed miss the playoffs but the offense continues to improve, mainly Tannehill. I think Lazor gets the promotion. We saw this year how few candidates their truly are. Wouldn't mind McDaniels but I doubt he goes to Miami to compete with Belichick. Gase didn't seem ready to the teams interested.

I'd look at Marvin Lewis if he's fired. Has a consistent playoff team in Cincy and has yet to win a SB. One of the better coaches in this league.

People cant be complaining that Philbin got a C lol. Failbin needs to go, but we will wait another wasted season because of Magoo as owner

Billick described the Dolphins drafting Ryan Tannehill in the first round as like Jamarcus Russell, re bust potential. Yes, he actually said it. He is a well known Miami Dolphin hater. Ignore him.

Can Joe really be called Failbin when he gets a 'C'?

I'll reiterate why the Ross as Magoo analogy is bad. Magoo was a bumbling fool (i.e. Inspector Clouseau) who had an odd way of looking at things yet prevailed more often than not.
