Look at Martin here

Phil Hartman literally lived down the block from an old friend of mine in Encino. Passed that house on the way to a few of his 4th of July pool parties and card games (and yes it took a lot of $cratch to live in that neighborhood.. he's a successful small developer)

And this is why a lot of people have a problem with how both Incognito and Martin handled their situations.

It's really not. It's possible Martin, knowing he has to play side-by-side with the guy, was trying to make the situation better by trying to get Incognito to like him a little more.
 
Maybe Cog sat next to him... And if you think someone is crazy and you are afraid of what that person might do one day, are you not going to keep up a pretense of amicability?

I truly do not understand this fascination with Incognito and the way so many are trying to find any and every way to make Martin into the bad guy. I mean, I'm not about to say I know what happened and exactly what the intent behind those messages were, but the presumptions about Martin on this board range from puzzling to downright idiotic.

A 6' 5" man scared of a smaller man. Think of what some of you are saying here. If that's the case the issues go far beyond football for Martin!

You says this as if Incognito was 5'10" 185 lbs.....

I think Incognito instability would cause anyone to be a little nervous around him...

5' 10" or 6' 3" Cog should be able to handle someone smaller than him. If not he should have played basketball or something.

So because he's taller he has nothing to fear? Are you serious?

Even if I accepted such a ridiculous argument, are you saying that if someone is threatening you you're going to give him the benefit of the doubt that if he one day decides to follow through with those threats he's going to walk up to your face and say, "Ok I intend to assault you right now, I hope you're ready"?
