Look at this hit

I remember watching that, that hit and that game were a thing of beauty.

should retitle... "watch this plaY... their is nothing remarkable about the HIT itself...

Not a great hit per se, but great timing seperating the man from the ball.

Great play!

No doubt he can hit like a ton of bricks but the question mark remains in his coverage abilities
If I remember correctly, Allen was staying with and had good position on the WRs in minicamp (with the exception of Ginn), but still couldn't keep them from catching the ball. Maybe his ears are still ringing from last season when Saban kept screaming, "DON'T LOOK BACK FOR THE BALL!!!"

i have to agree it was a nice play to break up the ball but the help of #24(?) maed it look like a monster hit by allen when he barely brushed watsons leg and seemed to hit more the ball then watson. but i have to admit for once allen was in perfect position to break the play.

Number 24 is Renaldo Hill.

you don't think that, but im sure ben watson agrees that the hit we just watched hurt pretty bad

its not necessarily the hardness of the hit, but the quality of the hit, he knew exactly where to hit him on that play so he wouldn't make the catch. that was a great play

Watson bottled it. He saw a Fin sandwich coming in and he paid for it either way. Wasnt a great hit, just good position to make the play and cause the drop.

Man I hope that guy can crack the starting lineup....I hated the pick and still hate the pick.....I think Nick was riding that whole SEC thing a lil too hard.
