Draft a lot more LSU guys in next years draft..... I personally think that he might draft the really good safety LSU has..... Tom Landry?? or something like that... Maybe after a Qb, if one isn't picked up in free agency

I disagree. IMHO I think nick is a smart coach, and has demonstrated (this years draft) that he will select the best player available at that draft spot regardless of what school he comes from. I also think that Saban is not afraid to go against conventional wisdom, and take a risk on an injured player that shouldve been drafted round one, but beacause of injury will drop way down the chart. :

The most bizarre thing is that the University of Miami is not too far away and besides Vernon Carey, I don't think we have anyone else from UM

Saban will draft the BPA, whether he's from LSU or TCU or USC. The advantage he has with LSU players, and in a smaller way with SEC guys, is that he will know who to pass over when teams might select a player and he'll be able to find a gem or two among sleepers in the later rounds.

well yea.... He drafts the BPA , but if his player from LSU is just a slight lower I think he would choose the guy from LSU since they know his schemes and tendencies already.... much like Travis Daniels

it's LSU players that nick has targeted

I feel it's Florida player (evan,daniel,cater,Elam i know he was cut)
not the gator but player born in florida

which i may add is 70% of the SEC--jk but there a lot
of florida born player around college Football

I wouldn't say hes going to draft a lot of LSU guys, but rather, a lot of SEC players. Remember, he takes guys who have shown they can beat him in college to. a la ronnie brown and Matt Roth.

Do you think he took Daniels because he was from LSU? who else was available around that slot?

It would be interesting to see if there were other corners graded to go around that slot.
