D-Lineman is not where we'll be going....it's QB, then O-Line.....but who knows, but I hope Saban doesn't become another wanny with a "punting is not a bad offense" mentality.

I bet in 7 rounds we pick up one D-lineman given how old are line is becoming.

QB is a HUGE must for the 2006 draft. Hopefully the QB will come in round 1, but Saban may wait until the second round.

I like Omar Jacobs in round one if we draft between 5-15 which I am think is very logical oterwise I wouldn't mind a Chris Leak or Vince Young in round 2 if they come out early.

I like this mock that I found, alot.

Ding Ding Ding- a DT From LSU.

Keep an eye on that.

While D-Line may not be a huge need, I agree we will likely draft at least one in the 7 rounds. I mean, assuming we need 1 QB and probably a C or G (obviously its too early to tell what will happen at the tackles, but just for the sake of argument...) Then what? You could argue safety, depending on the development of Yeremiah Bell. You could argue a young WR. We have decent depth at LB, depending on whether Nick feels guys like Eddie Moore/Derek Pope fit his system. And dont forget, technically out 5th rounder WAS used on a DT- Manny Wright. So many factors will affect the decision, but seeing as how D-Line is really probably the oldest "group" on our team, it wouldnt shock me if we make a selection there.

Wow- talking about the draft already. Enough. LOL.

It IS about the draft though...

I think I am missing the point of this post, but I am very confused...

How credible is that mock draft? The writer of that mock draft still thinks Pat Williams is a Buffalo BIll. lol

What kind of great player do you think you'll get with the 32nd pick in next years draft

That's what I was thinking.

so many DL studs next year. i almost wish we needed one. shame on them for not putting Tenn's Mahelona on there. that list doesn't even include the possible underclassmen: Ngata, Mario Edwards
