Look who leads the league in tackles

He led it all last year too until injury. If you look at all the stats the Fins are pretty high in a lot of categories.
 
More impressive is that Tebucky Jones is in the top of the list also. I thought he played well but damm! We have all come to expect those numbers from the best linebacker in the league
 
I went to the game with a friend who had never been to a Phins game. I told him, "You watch, wherever the ball is, you'll see 54 right there. We'll hear his name called at least every third defensive play as making the tackle."

I wrote an article about this on this site during the summer, "Zach is still the man".
I do not know what more the guy has got to do to get the credit he deserves.
 
I think that stat is a tribute to the DT's who kept blockers off our linebackers. We have great LB's that are around the ball all the time and if the DT's can play like they did in game one, teams will have a lot of trouble moving the ball on us.

Yes it is the scheme. But you know that is why people do not give Zach credit, is because they always say "oh its the scheme". Well you know what? a lot of teams run the same kind of scheme and they do not get the same performance out of their MLB. We have changed several DTs in and out, and Zach still gets it done. Sooner or later you have to give him the credit he deserves.

Zach is a stud.
