This list consists of younger guys who have potential, who may or may not be guys we've all thought about. I also didnt put any restricted FAs as I dont see the FO giving up draft picks

Right Tackle- no starter on roster
-Resign Vernon Carey
-Stacy Andrews- Cincinnati Bengals
-Mark Tauscher, Green Bay Packers (over 30 y/o)
-Ray Willis, Seattle Seahawks

Inside Linebacker-Outside of Ayodele, Torbor- not saying much
-Resign Crowder
-Bart Scott, Baltimore Ravens
-Angelo Crowell (OLB) Buffalo Bills

Cornerback- outside of Will Allen, nothing
-Resign Andre Goodman
-Corey Ivy, Baltimore Ravens
-Fernando Bryant- Pittsburgh Steelers
-Bryant Mcfadden- Pittsburgh Steelers
-Chris Carr, Tennessee Titans
-Reynaldo Hill, Tennessee Titans
-Leigh Bodden, UFA
-Ronald Bartell, St Louis Rams

Free Safety- Nothing, unless you consider Jason Allen
-Resign Renaldo Hill
-James Sanders, New England Patriots
-Eugene Wilson, Houston Texans

Strong Safety- Nothing
-Resign yeremiah Bell
-Sean Jones, Cleveland Browns
-Jim Leonhard, Baltimore Ravens (Undersized)
-Gerald Sensabaugh, Jacksonville Jaguars
-Jermaine Philips, Tampa Bay Bucs (30 years old)
-James Butler, Ny Giants

Wide Reciever- Front Office says they wont go for the big names
-Shaun Mcdonald- Detroit Lions
-Nate Washington-Pittsburgh Steelers
-Brandon Jones, Tennessee Titans
-Bryant Johnson, San Francisco 49ers

Any other guys I missed that you guys like for these top priority positions?

I see us going after Jason Brown but as of right now, we have a center on our roster in Samson Satele. I put positions that we dont have a viable option to start, except WR where its always good to bring in some guys.

-I'd bring in Ray Willis at RT who wouldnt cost too much
-Bart Scott will be our big $$ man. we desperately need an ILB and there may not be a top ILB in the draft at our pick
-We can get Brown who will garner a lot of money or grab one of the many centers in the draft
-And at CB, Bodden, Mcfadden and/or Bartell will all be nice additions in my opinion

Isn't Michael Jenkins from Atlanta a free agent?

there arent any big name WRs to go after regardless..

-Boldin is under contract
-Whos your mama is 32 and a possession guy.. we already have Camarillo and Bess for that.. and technically Wilford as well
-TO should stay with the Boys
-Chad Johnson?

I think we go after Scott for sure. Probably sign Goodman and either Carey or Bell before FA begins.

If Miami let's all of our FA walk we're going to be sitting a bit uneasy. But we have the best football mind in the NFL on our side, he's up to something.

I really don't see us going hard after a ILB, Crowder succeeded being a good LB. I really thin a draft pick will step in and the drop off from Crowder to a rookie won't be that much playing ILB. We will improve DE and OLB to make the biggest difference. That's where I see Cantry and Brown being our priority signings. I also think they may sign a veteran OT for a 2 year deal to groom a draft pick, Tra Thomas would be an excellent addition. The FA also has a strong Safety group so picking up a Jim Leonard would be cheaper then re-signing Bell and he's younger and no history of injuries that I know of (wouldn't he love to stick it to the Bills twice a year as a bonus!!!).

In the draft we'll go after the OLB, ILB, FS, Oline Depth and CB.

I think we need to take a look at the way Free Agency went for MLB players. While several players did cash in they were the bigger names in that sport and most signed well before all the economic issues came to the forefront.

IMO, with all the top players that have been tagged, I think the remaining FA's will find that there isn't as much money to go around.

Franchises are laying people off and let's face it a large part of their income comes from Corporate sponsors and ticket sales. Bottomline everyone has tightened their belts.

For ILB, there have been lots of rumors that we are interested in trading for Bobby Carpenter (Apparently its possible for only a 6th or a 7th rounder). Also, Jonathan Vilma is expected to become a FA and although he is undersized (6-1 230) for Parcells mold, he's a tackling machine in the middle.

And for safety, did Otogwe get signed? I haven't seen him play much but I've heard good things.
