Ok that was one of the toughest losses I have had to stomach in a very long time, but Im not all that unhappy. We got outplayed yesterday and yet we were one play away from winning...that ****ing 4th down catch. Anyways..moving on, we got the ravens coming to our house next week. I believe we will be able to stop their run and hopefully put enough pressure on Flacco to force some turnovers and bad throws. The ravens have lost 3 straight and have a beat up team with tons of injuries, I think the dolphins come back with a real strong showing and win big.

Ravens-13
Dolphins-27

Whats your prediction?

I think this game is very winnable. Miami will/should continue to do well against teams with bad to avg passing games. Now when we go up against Denver, THEN we are gonna get freaking SMOKED!!

I'm very optimistic about this weeks matchup. I don't see it being a big win by any means. Our offense will have to score at least 2 tds to give us a chance, but I see it being another close, physical, defensive game with our offsense eeking out enough to get the win late in the game.

Defensively:
Flacco has proven that he can handle NFL defenses *for the most part* playing well vs. the Titans and Steelers. We need to really pay attention to what Indy did with their front 7. They're O-line is nothing compared to what it used to be. They were confused on lots of stunts and outside blitzes. Thank goodness that the Ravens have as much WR talent as we do.....Porter and Roth should be able to exploit their slow tackles and get to Flacco early and often.

Offensively:
BALL SECURITY. The Ravens thrive off turnovers and momentum changers. If we grind the ball down the field and wear them out, we have a great chance of coming out on top. They're secondary was torched by Indy, but then again, we don't nearly the weapons they did. I do think that we can exploit outside the hash marks on intermediate routes, 10-15yd outs, hooks, smash routes etc. We need to have a big day from our O-line and I think we'll get it. They need to keep Pennington upright and give him some time. I really feel that he can have a monster day vs. a depleted secondary.

Ravens 10 Dolphins 13 on a late FG.

Its hard to predcit when your still recovering from a huge letdown....

Its just funny how after we beat the Pats & Chargers, it seems like we're on toip of the world and can beat anyobdy in this league.....yet when we lost to the texans, it now seems we won't be able to beat anybody.

I keep thinking of how poorly we played vs the Texans and it seems we will get blown out by the Ravens....especially after the fact they are mad to have gotten blown out.

The same thing happened with the Texans. They came in hungry knowing they should've won the last game. While we got knocked off the high horse.

What worried me in the loss to the texans was that we could not sustain any drives. Ronnie should be getting more than 10 carries a game. I think it will be tough to run on the Ravens D.

The Ravens and Dolphins will both be very motivated to cleanse themselves of the previous week's loss. I got a feeling both teams are going to be extremely physical.

I think Phins win it by 10 points. If you get pressure on Flacco he falls apart. Joey Porter and Roth better be all over him. On offense we should stick with the Wildcat....and maybe use Cobbs for more than one half next week? It seems like Sparano decides to stop going to thing that are working....the last two weeks we got the ball first after halftime and it was three and out both times.

this is a must win. i am so frustrated thinking about how if we just knock that ball down on 4th and 10 we r now 3-2 one game behind buffalo with alot of very winnable games coming up. and also it wouldve been so great to go from 1-15 to possibly making the playoffs this year. we can still do it but its gonna be alot harder to do now. but you gotta believe so lets hope this team comes back and strings some wins together.
