Looking towards the draft I can't see how we don't take 2 CB's with one of them being our first pick.

Grimes will probably be gone with his contract and declining ability, which has declined rapidly.

McCain was horrible before his injury and Taylor has shown to not be much better.

We are so thin at a position of need and it is hurting our DL, who hasn't had a coverage sack all season .

I know we need guards. We need help at LB. We need another DE. We might need another WR, TE, S and FB. All that said I don't see any way, if we draft on need, that we don't go CB. We have to. It is the only way to lock up that position.

Depends on if Albert finishes the season healthy. If he gets hurt yet again, I'd say he'll be replaced. Also both starting DE's will probably be gone.

You know what, I would be inclined to get the best CB/LB available in the first, double up in the second with a defensive player then trade our 3,4 & 5th for another 2nd rounder and go LT. At least we should get at least 2........hopefully.......2 starter on defence next year. Better than drafting average players who are not even decent back ups.

Get a defensive minded coach, and hopefully things might change.

Not our top need because Dallas Thomas and Jason fox start for this team.

Toss up between oline and linebackers. Problem is it isn't just one player in those spots. We need 2 guards and 2 tackles as I don't trust alberts to stay healthy for any period of time. As far as linebackers go, we need 3 of them. Misi's ship sailed, Jenkins is a decent backup and whomever plays the other side all suck. We need 1 corner and safety a minimum as well... Rome wasn't built in a day and this situation surely isn't a 1 year fix.

I am totally keeping Grimes. Look at what CB's got last year on the open market. He is a steal, declining ability or not.

IMO is absolutely is the biggest need on this team. Miami will need to sign one and draft one or two. Grimes is gone as he's looking old and in no way can they or should they pay him the $9m next year. There are a lot of good corners going to be in the draft and Miami will need to land one of them high in the draft. I am a little Biased but Ramsey is my top choice as I think he can be a very good corner, but has the ability to be an elite FS.

If you are talking about depth then I agree on the O-line. As stated earlier, A lot depends on Albert. If he is good I see us needing 1 guard and 1 developmental/backup swing tackle, both of which could be had for a reasonable price in FA or after the third rd of draft.

Definitely need a MLB. Misi has played fine, and I would consider Jenkins more than a decent backup.

I would go defense with all first three picks, CB, DE, MLB in no particular order.

OL in FA and some later round developmental prospects, plus the further development of our own guys like Douglas and I feel good about our offseason.

I think you bring Grimes back for another year...he just can't be the guy anymore...

As far as CB's in the draft...Ramsey is a top choice because he can play ant DB position...Hargreaves is the better pure corner...

After that you have Fuller, White, Redmond....

IF you don't land one of the top 2 and are between 8-15...you will most likely be better off waiting until the second round or trying to move up in the back end of the 1st.

we need players. Miami needs to trade down

I used to be all for trading down and getting extra picks, but those picks have really been pathetic so far as performance goes. I would rather 2 great starters with picks 1 and 2...trade back into the first if we have too, than trading down and having players not starters.

I really think our scouting team is below average.

The ****ty coaching hasn't helped either. Philbin, Coyle. Lazor is on his last legs too I think.

This team has a lot of number 1 needs. OL is a number 1 need LB is a number 1 need and CB is a number 1 need

No...not at the price we are paying him. Now, I could see a renegotiation being done and keeping him at a reduced rate, but I don't see us keeping him at his current salary.

I do think it is a good idea to keep him on the roster if the price is right.
