I wish tampa would have won today to get off the schnide. Winless teams are always dangerous.

Looking over the some of the quick stats we are somewhat even in a total offense and defense. Tampa's defense looks a little more stingy on the yards. It would be nice to go in there with a balanced attack.

I think it helps the Dolphins that the Buccaneers lost today. They'll be shocked and demoralized. Teams of that level seldom regroup after a narrow loss. They have to catch somebody napping. Now the Dolphins can be forewarned all week, given the 21-0 lead against a team the caliber of the Seahawks.

Tampa Bay would have been energized and determined to partially salvage the season if they had won today, and then were coming home on national television.

Seattle and Pete Carroll did a good job continuing to run the ball, despite a 21-0 deficit and a shaky offensive line. Rushes ended up only 38 to 35 in Tampa Bay's favor. Lots of coaches would have panicked and allowed the rushes to maintain lopsided, inviting a defeat.

This is a game Miami should win but would typically lose ala Buffalo.

How are they going to be shocked? THey are 0-8, they are going to be even more pissed that they didnt get their first win. THis could be a trap game.

He usually posts in regards to betting/Vegas trends. He tends to be pretty accurate most of the time...

Shocked at blowing a 21-0 lead. Believe it or not, that's not a regular occurrence. Tampa Bay was favored to win at that point.

Teams that have a 25% or lower winning percentage in midseason and beyond are more dangerous to severely overachieve on the road, as opposed to at home. When they are at home the energy is all negative and expectations low. Even if they prevail it's invariably tight and often fortunate, like Miami's saving home win over the Ravens in 2007.

I deal in majority percentages, not absolutes. Certainly Tampa Bay can be ticked next week and come out firing. But with a rookie quarterback and coming off yet another bottom line defeat, their situational spot is more negative than positive.

Well, the way they lost has to be a little demoralizing, but this game still scares the **** outta me as a Dolphins fan.

Just go out there and crush them. Use the panthers game plan last thursday night game thats how u destroy them. Prime time game fins will be pumped up for it.

I'll expand a little bit: There's an angle in which a home underdog that is coming off a straight up victory as a road underdog does very well. My friend Paul from Boston loved that angle. He lived near me in Las Vegas and every time that angle showed up be was bouncing all over the place, touting the game and betting massive amounts. I remember one year the Jets fit on a Monday night and Paul won his largest bet of the season.

I've simplified what I do so I don't have the angle in front of me. There might be additional requirements. Can't remember. Regardless, it doesn't kick in since Tampa Bay lost.
