There was a thread started a few weeks ago before the Pittsburgh game asking us to rank the next 3 games in descending order of difficulty. I remember agreeing with MadDog 88 by stating that Buffalo would be the most difficult, followed by New England and then Pittsburgh. Well, given how nail-biting the last two wins have been, how could the Dolphins not only defeat the Bills, but do so in more dramatic fashion?! A Sturgis 60 yarder in the wind as time expires?

I still believe that winning at Buffalo will pose a serious challenge. I am very concerned about Tannehill's and Sturgis' inexperience playing in windy conditions, should that be the forecast. Buffalo's running game with Spiller and Jackson will be formidable. Miami will have to run the ball better than they did today, and I hope the OL and RB's are up to the challenge. I stand by my initial rankings. If it is windy, this will be a very difficult matchup.

I think the Carolina win over the Jets is important. It will help the Dolphins with the Jets officially eliminated going into that last game.

especially if we are without our starting corners and solai

Grimes and Carroll will be back. Didn't see Soliai's problem

It definitely won't be easy. Weather might be the same as what we saw last week in Pittsburgh. The Bills do have a decent defense, it is a division game on the road and historically they play well against us in Buffalo.

Still though, I think Miami should win, but it will probably be close.

Miami didn't run the ball poorly today, they just didn't run it enough. 21 carries for 90 yards is over 4 yards a carry. NE actually had 19 more plays than Miami did today.

Be glad the game wasn't in Buffalo today. They're under a blizzard warning right now. Obviously a week out is difficult to forecast but right now it's supposed to be 29 with a snow shower in Buffalo a week from today.

Agreed. They will need to commit to the run more.

IF we do not beat Buff next week, this win will not matter.

There CANNOT be a letdown or a lack of focus next week. As was said- playoff teams win these kinds of games.

This time of year, unless you are facing a complete train wreck, they are all difficult. Like all games its going to require execution, which is never simple facing NFL caliber players. The strength of the opponent does matter in the amount of room you have for error. A great team can beat you if the turnover margin is +1 in their favor with that being the difference in the game. They can even beat you with a -2 or -3 margin if you don't press your advantage enough. Though we BARELY did it today, it's hard to stop a top caliber opponent who has the ball with time to score at the end of the game. A lesser team may not be able to drive down as well. Better teams will turn most of your mistakes into big plays. Lesser teams may let you get away with a couple you wouldn't have gotten away with otherwise. If you make too many mistakes though, pretty much every team will make you pay eventually.

Baltimore may lose tomorrow which will leave us in control of our own destiny. The last two games of 2002 should make everyone aware of how teams can still play spoiler, even if you have more capable talent that has executed at a higher rate preceding the game.

No game is easy when we cannot consistently score more than around 20.

As most of u know I live up here in the Tundra that is western Ny and we've had huge snow storms for 2 weeks in a row; it's a damn winter wonderland! Lol here's hoping that next weekend will be milder but I doubt it
