Firts and foremost we need to assume the phins win the next two so that we are 3-4 at the break. when the season resumes for us we have just4 road games left. Most uf us, I would think, are expecting a loss to DA BEARS. That leaves the Lions (w), the Bills (a W would give us the as-per-normal season split), and our final game at the Colts (playoff bound, resting starters for the playoffs, as per usual. We don't do half bad up there anyway). So boys and girls, that finishes our remaining road schedual at 3-1. Now for the home games. The Chief are hard to read this year, with injury problemns and new head coach, and the Vikings are beatable. We get the Jags after the thursday thanksgiving scrimmage against the Lions, I'm looking for a win. Next come the Pats. If we improve any from the game we played last time we faced them, a win. (and another season split) We are GAURENTEED

Just assuming W's and L's in the NFL is never a good idea. People just end up looking stupid

(and another season split) We are GAURENTEED to win again against the Jets in our regular season finale for three reasons. 1 final home game, 2 It's Christmas, we all deserve the gift and 3 It's the friggin Jets. so that puts us at 11-5, but if we slip up a couplle times, no worse than 9-7........so keep your head up everyone!:dolphins:

Diehard while I love your never say die attitude....this scenerio is on the scale of improbable.

You did not address the fact that we have no running game, no receivers, and no DBs worth a darn. Our Lbs can't blitz to save their lives, yet Capers/Saban keep on sending them in, etc, etc, etc. Unfortunately this team has a ton of holes that cannot be filled in a season, maybe not even two seasons. We lost to the Texans and Bills and barely escaped a loss at home to the Titans man.

maybe the fins should try to copy the jags gameplan aginst the jets this week. It worked ok for them didn't it?

yea, it's more than a little optimistic, and highly improbable, but it doesn't hurt to look through the rose colored glasses now and then.

It could happen !?!?!?!?!

Thats the same kind of talk we expressed last year when we were 2 & 7, but somehow we got it together. I too don't see us going from 1 & 4 to 11 & 5, but we could turn it around & finish strong. Our O-line looked like crap last year too, but then they & yes even Gus came around and we finished stong. I know some ya-who's gonna say that we played slugs at the end of the season, but that's crap. We beat some good teams & can do so again. Are we the team that we all hoped for & believed we would be - NO, but I'm still be on the couch every Sunday & know they'll turn this around. .... and if they don't then we better score in the draft!!!!

what plan? Having a superior, pissed off defense...and getting the refs to call BS roughing the passer calls on the Jets?
