Looking at the rest of our schedule....

It's a bummer we play some bad teams towards the end of the season, rather than now. Looking at our schedule:

-BYE-
SAN DIEGO
@Houston
BALTIMORE
BUFFALO
@Denver
SEATTLE
OAKLAND
NEW ENGLAND
@St Louis
@Buffalo
SAN FRANCISCO
@Kansas City
@NY Jets

Now would be a good time to play these teams:
San Diego (LT hurt & Other injuries)
Houston (look bad)
Seattle (injuries)
Oakland (firing their HC)
St Louis (one of the worst teams)
Kansas City (one of the worst teams)

These are 6 winnable games. Given we play San Diego & Houston coming up, but I would much rather have played KC and St Louis. KC & St Louis seem like "gimmie" games right now. By seasons end, let's hope they have not found their groove. Everyone else is getting their wins and looking good by taking their shots at these teams (Raiders, Falcons, etc). I just wish we had some easier games to boost our confidence and get over .500.

Let's hope these teams are still in turmoil by the time we play them.
 
id prefer to beat em straight up at their best, but we will take wins where we can get them :)....i was just checking out the bills schedule and they start out with some real easy games, they might be over rated.
 
I think if we played like we did yesterday we can beat any team on that schedule, or at least be in every game close.

Im not sayin these are all gonna be wins but im puttin out there some of the reasons how/why i think we could get the win for that game.

SAN DIEGO -- Havent looked to great this year, theyre definately beatable. Plus with the injury to LT nows a great time to play them.
@Houston -- Never really a good team, we always have a shot to beat them.
BALTIMORE -- We beat em last year...and theyre not a dominant team.
BUFFALO -- Based on this year so far the bills look good but we'll have to see how good they really are in weeks to come, plus theyre a rival we always play em tough.
@Denver -- This might be a tough game, Denvers looked real good so far this year.
SEATTLE -- Not close to the same team they were years ago when they were a playoff contender.
OAKLAND -- Still not a good team. Theyve got all types of problems.
NEW ENGLAND -- Beat em both times we play em?...i think it can happen, now that weve got some confidence.
@St Louis -- Worst defense in the league, maybe worst team...its them or the chiefs.
@Buffalo -- Away in Buffalo in the winter weather...itll be cold up there and dependin on how buffalos still doin at this point.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Should be a win, i dont see anything stoppin us from beatin San Fran...
@Kansas City -- Might be the worst team in the league, we gotta beat KC.
@NY Jets -- Favre aint that great for the Jets, everyone hyped them up to be Super Bowl contenders during the pre-season but theyre still the same old Jets, a rival game...itll always be a good one.
 
the fins schedule is pretty easy compared to others in the league. i like our chances of winning at least 6 more ( @Houston, SEATTLE, OAKLAND, @St Louis, SAN FRANCISCO, @Kansas City) pretty easily.

plus the rest (BALTIMORE, BUFFALO &, NEW ENGLAND, @BUFFALO, @NY Jets) are all winnable games.

all i have to say is, good thing we dont have a schedule like the steelers:

The game is actually at Toronto and in a dome so that will atleast eliminate the cold weather problem. Buffalo is still a pretty good team and prob the favorite in the east.
 
yea i forgot theyre playin it in Toronto...the way i see it is any week any team is beatable...its who plays better on that sunday. How can you look to the last game of the season. Brett Favre could be injured, the Bills could have a key guy go down. You never know what can happen. We could just be better prepared for the game. I think we can win any game on that schedule. Im not sayin were going to but it is possible, were not that bad of a team.
 
I agree that there are some teams we should beat, however, if we can continue to play mistake free, well executed football, there is no reason we cant go into every game with at least a chance to win.

That is all we can ask for this year.
 
I think we could pull an upset on San Diego. Seems like we've had their number the last few times we've played them, they have to fly all the way across the country, and LT is banged up. Ripe for an upset IMO.

I see us winning about 6-7 games this season.
 
There are only 2 'talented' teams left on the schedule (SD & DEN) .... all the rest are just average and nothing special -- except STL and KC ... they are by FAR the worst 2 teams in the NFL right now... with NO prospect of getting better as the season goes on.
 
Take it easy, enjoy the W you had yesterday before you start looking down the road.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!! JUST WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! You should take it easy and worry about your team trying to beat the Chargers, cause you could be 1-2 just like us in a couple of hours and that's what I am hoping for!!!!!!!

We probably will be 1-2 but that has nothing to do w/ you guys. Every year you have high expectations only to fall short, this year many were talking big then you stunk the 1st 2 weeks and that stopped. Now you win one game and you are counting Ws. Just enjoy the W, you guys should know how hard they are to come by lately.
 
The dolphins could be 2-1 if it wasn't for Brett Favre throwing up a prayer and having it answered by God.

That being said it is way to early to tell how the fins play out the year. Lot of people on the board all jumping for joy where the one wanting everying fired last week.

It was a big win, but Porter is right NE isn't NE without Brady, if we played Brady yesterday even with our new formation I don't think we could have won because he probably would have put up more points than we did

One week at a time, that's the way I am looking at the season. I think we could turn some heads if we take it one week at a time.

Yeah, i'm gonna savor this one right up until K/O against the Chargers. It's been WAY too long since we had a Sunday to enjoy like yesterday and i'm not taking it for granted like in the past. I agree games against St. Louis, Houston, Kansas City, look like win's, but nothing is for sure in this league, so while my confidence is really at a level unlike anything in the past few years, i'll soak in this *** whipping for about a week and a half or so and enjoy watching this weekends games knowing what we did this past weekend. :up:

We are enjoying the win. And exploring the future possibilities of this team because of this win. That's the best part, the confidence boost. You may have beat us(although it was a far cry from a convicing victory), but half this team was put together this year. We just trounced the team in their house that you couldn't beat in your house, so there's certainly no reason to expect we can't beat lesser teams after this showing.

Oh by the way, every team's fans has high expectations most every year. That's why we're called fans. Stop trying to suck the air out of the balloon. You're so obvious. I could find the same type threads on every Jets board guarenteed.
