I noticed that we don't play our first home game at 1:00 until week 10 vs. Tampa. That's on Nov 15. So much for using the heat to our advantage. We have only three home game that start at 1 o'clock. I think that is bull****.

Ah man, so much for playoffs... jk. Seriously give me proof that playing in heat help the dolphins. Im sure it can play factor, but if the heat is what wins the game for us i will be worried for my team.

I'm not saying that it wins games for us, but every advantage no matter how big or small helps.

Oh man, the league TOTALLY t-boned us with this one!

Might as well throw the season away, because using the Miami heat is the only way we could ever beat teams.

Maybe I'll just go watch the CFL, it's basically the same thing as the NFL, right? Sweet.

I'm hungry.

Everyone in this league is trying to find any advantage they can. The heat has helped us in the past and I'm sure it will help us in the future.

No need to worry about it though, sometimes you just have to play the cards you got.

I dont think it helps us that much right now considering most of our players havent been here for too long.

But it helps, just as the cold can kill you.

My favorite soccer team in South America, PENAROL, was playing the World Championship in Japan many years ago against a European team and it was snowing, and they lost because they had never seen snow.

The heat didn't help us at all against the Jets and Ravens early in the season. Both were 1 o'clock games at home.

We just need to beat the team on the other side of the ball. The Dolphins don't have any cold weather games in December next year either. So it all evens out.

I dont care even if it is ridiculous as wearing certain colors and/or classic jerseys if does help us... more power to us. I am just saying keep in mind that heat as advantage is small and if heat was win a game for you, you got some things to worry about. Like if you are good playing in heat, how will you play in cold.

Against the Jets, we were a very raw team back then, and we hung through. Especially with Favre having spent so much time in GB.
Against the Ravens, Im pretty sure it was late October, so it wasnt that bad. I was there and it was fine.

If you want to see what hot is, come down to Miami right now. Its unbearable

Years ago, when Shula was coaching and possibly a little of JJ being here, there was a distinct advantage. I recall numerous games in which Buffalo, the Jets or Pats would come down in Sep and by the 4th quarter would be whipped by both the Phins and the heat. In recent years I don't recall an advantage, probably due to the fact of having wimpy coaches and a practice bubble.

And the oh boy was disbelief that after all the clamoring about not playing in prime time this comes up. :chuckle:

I think it helped against us, our guys definitely ran out of gas in the 4th qtr. If that game had a few more minutes left I'm not sure we win.

Good teams don't get alot of Sunday at 1PM games, you guys always talk about respect well they gave you respect w/ few 1Pm games.

Good teams do get 1:00pm games. 5 of the Patriots 8 home games are scheduled at 1:00pm, although the last two in December will probably be flexed to PrimeTime. The 16 game schedule has 9 1:00pm games (the game in London is 1:00pm EST but 6:00pm GMT).

The London game has to be 1PM ET. The good teams they always want at 4PM or later. NE has 3 1PM games scheduled at home and 5 total(including the London game), the last 5 weeks those are tentative times and if NE is themsleves they may get one more 1PM game.
